So hard to use!
I used to use Canon’s old OPA app and it was so easy to send the exact photos you wanted over to the cloud. With this you cannot select which photos, it tries to send them all over! It’s so annoying 😡🙄
Forced to buy a new camera
Wow. I’ve only had my WiFi camera for about 3 years now, and loved the web features to have them download for my computer. Now this unnecessary new service has cut off my camera when it’s only 1 model behind. What a waste now to have a WiFi camera that I can’t even upload my images anymore to canon gateway or even google drive. Disappointed. There was no reason to 1) create a new service that doesn’t work as smoothly and 2) cut off WiFi enabled cameras for them to be useless now.

Miss my old app
I used to be able to select pictures. Now it’s far more finicky and I had to give up and let it transfer 450 pictures that had already transferred about 440 of them to the app already. Guess it is back to transferring to the card reader for my laptop. Wow the dinosaur is still good for something.
Horrible. Made my expensive camera useless!
I bought the camera because of the ability to transfer wirelessly. Canon decided to change their app to this app that DOES NOT WORK AT ALL and now my camera is useless -and they don’t even have a support contact! I’ve been strictly Canon for years, but I’m switching to Nikon because of this.
Is give it zero if I could. Rubbish
Utter rubbish! I spent an entire day trying to get the cr2 raw files to transfer due to your own misinformation. They cannot be sent. What is the point in that? Not only that, it’s the slowest online service I’ve ever seen not to mention the fact that it isn’t even automated. The app is also terrible. This is tech which clearly isn’t ready for launch yet.

Canon software: not the sharpest!
Well it probably does the job but when I select the pictures I want to download and press send, I get an error message "you can't select any more" I was not trying, just wanted to send. Please fix this and do some more testing please before releasing software.
Too slow
Firstly, ignore the rash comments about the terms and conditions. Parts a, b and c of the terms quoted in a previous review clear up how and why any images would be used. Maybe Canon should make a clearer statement for those that are unable to understand the legal wording in the terms.
Secondly, this app works fine until you come to download the images onto your computer. The download works but it is so slow as to be unusable. I have 160Mb/s download speed but the Canon servers seem to be working at dial-up speeds. It’s quicker for me to just put the card in the reader.
Until Canon sort out their server speeds, this solution makes workflow far more time consuming and much less efficient. This is the only issue I have found and for me, it’s a showstopper.
In summary, the app works fine and does what it states in the description but it is hamstrung by the glacially slow speed at which you can then retrieve the photos for editing. Wait until they sort this issue out before taking this service seriously.

Beware the Terms and Conditions - canon is want your content for free
Like another reviewer said - the T’s&C’s grant canon a free licence to use your pictures anywhere in the world!!
Very poor of canon to do this. See below:
A Member retains ownership of his or her Image. By uploading Image to the Service, a Member grants Canon (including its affiliated companies and third party service providers and business partners) right and license to copy or otherwise use, on a worldwide basis, free of charge, the Member’s Content for the purpose of (a) providing the Service, (b) improving the Service, and (c) improving and developing current and future Canon products and services, including supporting one (1) or more trainable datasets used in AI engines. The right and license continue until relevant Content from the Service is deleted.

Wish I could give 0 stars
There was absolutely no reason to force me to give up the old app for this new, very buggy app. I was trying to scroll down and select pictures to download, and I had scrolled down very very far and when I hit download, it said download failed. I had been scrolling for almost 10 minutes looking through pictures. Thanks, Canon

Rubbish
Can’t really add much more, a disgraceful app, worse than just using a browser, pathetic.
