Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you had a poor experience. Unlocking all features and unlimited pattern creation does require a subscription or free trial, but you can create three free patterns per day and export unlimited patterns. You can access the app for free without signing-up by pressing the 'X' button at the top left hand corner of the initial (white) screen! Best, Pattern Art Team
