The Mobile ID app provides two-factor authentication and allows you to login to websites and software applications which support Mobile ID securely and easily. The following services are currently supporting the Mobile ID App: • Abacus • Etat de Neuchâtel • Luzerner Kantonalbank (Employees) • St. Galler Kantonalbank (Employees) • Banque Cantonale Neuchâteloise (Employees) • Privasphere • ZH Services der Stadt Zürich • SwissTrustRoom • Electronic Signing Services • Smart Registration Services If, as a Swiss user, you were already using Mobile ID on your SIM card, please note the restrictions and the special procedure (recovery code) at https://www.mobileid.ch/de/faq so that your previous authentication option is transferred to the new app. The second factor is your device password (PIN), facial recognition, such as FaceID, or your fingerprint e.g. TouchID. Use of the Mobile ID app is free of charge. The app offers you the following advantages: • Secure and easy to use two-factor authentication • Simple set-up of new accounts • No advertisements • Free of charge Mobile ID does not collect any user information. Horrible experience

I am getting error messages every time I try to use the app and get past the SMS stage. The error is not on my end. I would never willing use this app again.

An App that just doesn't work

Time wasting app that just doesn't work. Very disappointed as it carries so much importance and is very much vital to some.

What a confusing trash is this?

Far to complicated!!! You need to download at least three apps? After trying a couple of this for hours just an error message “Error because of ….bla bla …..”. And no further instructions?!? First identification didn’t work, we try another one. Video authentication works but I never got the promised SMS. Next try not possible because you change the authentication bla bla bla…. At least 5 hours wasted life time!!! Also far to much text you have to read, understand and keep in mind Pictures far to big forces you to scroll too much. Sorry, but this is really trash!!!
