Little invasive
I’m a little concerned about this app is I wanted to get it because able to pay for food and other things in the game. Then they asked me to sign off on permission to be able to read my emails and other messages. I thought that was very invasive for a sports app and I simply said no. why does it need all that information?

Navigation is an issue
Takes way to long and too many clicks to get to sporting pay, match day line up, etc. need cleaner quicker navigation for the important match day items.
It is not free to watch Sporting KC
A person has to pay for Apple TV+, an MLS Pass, and then MAYBE can stream it on their TV depending on what TV and services they have.
Notifications Still Broken
App doesn’t respect the user’s notifications settings. Even if all push notifications are turned off within the app, you’ll still be bombarded with spam advertisements and every notification you don’t want. In fact, regardless of the settings chosen within the app, it will ignore your wishes and send you everything. In short, the notifications settings are useless and broken. I ended up disabling all notifications in the phone settings.

Broken and Archaic

Individual notification toggles turn on or off all notifications—not just the one(s) you want. That includes the spam advertisements. So, I’ve completely disabled notifications in the phone settings and I’m forced to rely on other apps for match reminders, etc.
Seems to use IP address for location to determine whether you’re allowed to stream the match. If you’re using cellular data (i.e., not connected to Wi-Fi), your IP address might have an assigned location outside of Kansas or Missouri and you’ll be blocked from watching the match. The app should utilize the GPS/geolocation capabilities of today’s smartphones—not IP address!
Get it together, Ongoal/Sporting KC developers. This app is barely functional, broken, and infuriating to use. Fix the notification options so they work properly (allowing individual notifications to be toggled on or off—not all of them on or off) and update the app to use GPS/geolocation so that Kansas and Missouri residents can stream the matches when their phone is using cellular data.

Can’t get games to stream, even though I across the street from Childrens Mercy Park
Cannot watch any of the games that are broadcast on the app for Kansas and Missouri fans. I live 15 minutes from CMP, and can’t even get it to stream while near CMP. Please fix your app. ESPN+ correctly says I am blocked based on location. But the SportingKC.com site and app say I am not in the correct are.

Live in Kansas City. App says I’m out of area.
I line in Kansas City KS and the app says that it can not stream games because I’m out of area. I have enabled my location in my settings to always. I have registered on the app. I have filled out the form for viewing and all I get is an email telling me how to do everything I just did. Very disappointed!

The app has everything you need and free streaming for a ton of the season. Great job by all
Calendar subscription out of date
We are season ticket holders and I hit the option in the corner to subscribe to schedule so I would have an idea when home games are. I’m able to set up fine but the calendar itself has no new events so makes it worthless. Please fix if offering the option in the app to subscribe.
