Required an update in the middle of the weekend?
Used 4 days a year and required me to update the app twice during the first three rounds. Also crashes a lot. Compared to the masters app it’s horrid.
Worst app ever
Nothing works, the video doesn’t load says no connection although connected to my Wi-Fi. Total waste of time don’t bother with this useless app.
PGA insulting fans again
Unstable, videos don’t play (but the adverts, longer than the shots, do!), the highlights packages are laughable, and already, on day 2 of a 4 day event, I have had to update the app twice! I have come to the opinion that the PGA just does not care about the fans. This app has the same lack of care that their normal you tube highlights do- rubbish.

Little effort required to make better
Almost everything is just a little chunky and off. At least let me listen to the radio if you aren’t gonna stream something. Even that didn’t work. I don’t care if you gave me a featured group of just club pros. At least I could see the course. If you had a feature group of the worst ranked guys there it would be so much better. He’ll even if you had just a radio broadcast it would be so much better. I don’t have ESPN. It’s 2022. Please do better and get with the times.

No Live Streaming
Downloaded the app hoping it was like the Master’s app where limited live streaming is available. However, unless you have ESPN+ you can’t watch the tournament until the afternoon. I get there are TV contracts that are signed but should offer some live video.
Practically Useless
This app is possibly the most useless golf tournament tracker ever made. Might as well just track the tournament online or using ESPN.
The Masters and other tournament apps have consistently provided the important features that this app is lacking. Namely, the ability to watch live coverage of the event and shot by shot replays.
TL;DR: Don’t waste your time downloading this.

No Live Footage
After a great experience in The Masters app I expected to be able to actually watch at least some featured groups. Instead it directs you to Subscribe to ESPN+ or watch on ESPN.
I can watch a golf blog anywhere and don’t need this app for that. I expect ESPN app has all the same info and more. No reason to use this at all. I don’t know why they even bothered to create the app..

Change leader board
Please move the players who haven’t teed off yet below the players at +1 or worse.
Antiquated
Not even close to The Masters app. Basically just a link to Twitter videos and a scoreboard. No live video coverage. The PGA proves again they are out of touch with the real world and not interested in golf fans, only their own pockets
