  • Adoption family share album

    We use this AP to communicate with my sons birth mother and it is NOT reliable. It doesn’t keep connection well, it won’t load more than a months worth of photos, it takes SO much time waiting for stuff to load to write a simple comment. And when talking to birth family you want them to be able to access the photos whenever they want. Everyone in our group, 3 people, have to delete the AP and redownload it everytime we use it just to send a comment. And the bio mom is so frustrated she can’t see pictures from a few months back when she didn’t have access to a phone. I have reported this problem and they said sorry and delete and reinstall, and now it won’t even load the section to report this problem a second time. We use “Family Album” AP with my oldest sons bio family and it works perfectly. I would suggest you download that instead so you don’t need to get your whole group and a years worth of photos that you can’t even access moved to a different AP.

  • Love Hate

    There are so many good things about this app and so many things wrong with it. I love the concept of cataloging my child’s photos so they can be viewed and shared with everyone I give access to. The downfalls. Everyone gets a notification that someone watched a video. The app freezes, there is and update every single time seems AI driven. There is a constant push to use AI features like photo filters. There should be an options to turn that off. Some people are okay with there original photos. Not easy to download and send the videos made. The zoom on photo feature often cuts off images. Just needs a lot of work.

  • Exceptional app that captures the essence of your baby in a fantasy world

    As a mother of 4, it can be challenging to arrange a full of photo shoot to capture every occasion and/or holiday - and that’s where the Honeycomb app saved the day! For my toddler, and 4th boy, I was able to upload his pictures and create Valentine’s Day photos featuring him that captured his essence in both a real and fantasy world. They came out fantastic, and they brought a smile across my family and friends’ faces! Job well done, and I can’t wait until the next occasion to try the app again.

  • Makes Life Less Complicated

    I’m a very simplistic person & I hate being bombarded for the next photo. I’m not into blasting my child’s face on the internet, so this was a great alternative. I can treat it just like social media, but just my family & others. They can treat it as such too by commenting or liking. I upload as I please, which is really simple. I love organizing into different category stories, hashtags, & sorting how I please. I do wish the save image feature was optional to allow for extended members. Or restriction on who can see what. Also wish we could handle removing people from our groups ourselves. Hoping they’ll add a feature to print photo albums within the app.

  • Sloooow, not reliable?

    I TRY to use this AP as a connection between us and BIO mom for our adopted son. So I NEED it to work and not have to switch APs. Myself and Bio mom were having issues uploading a couple pics or videos, taking 10-15 min. Then trying to leave a comment taking another 10-15 min. Customer service told me the solution was delete and redownload AP. Which I have done many times and it works again for a few days/weeks. Now I had to do this again and I can’t get back into the AP at all. I have 4 months of pic/video and connections to bio family thru this AP potentially lost now.

  • Simple + easy app to share baby photos with the family

    The grandparents aren’t big fans of using social media (me either) or Google photo but always want to see what the little ones are up to every single day. Honeycomb has been a nice way to post all the memories of our baby photos in one spot, plus it being private. The AI portraits are pretty cute and silly. I did have some issues uploading before but haven’t had issues since the new version. Overall, great app!

  • Great Option for Free

    I'd give the Honeycomb app four or even 4.5 stars. It's excellent for gathering family photos and tracking milestones, especially through baby pictures and titles. The storage and easy family sharing are fantastic features. The monthly photo montage is also very sweet. However, it does have occasional glitches and crashes that seem to be more than occasional, but considering it's a free app, it's still a great choice for those seeking to keep their baby off social media like us.

  • Appealing format

    I like how this app is formatted! I also like the photo upload screen - as easy as tapping the photos I want. It's nice to rearrange the order as well.
    This has been a great way for grandparents to keep up with our little one's daily updates.
    It would be nice if there was a way to erase the icons for those who were invited but didn't sign up through the link. For example, I added my husband so his icon is there but greyed out, but he signed up through another way so he is added on the list, yet there is another icon still there from when I invited him. Hope that makes sense!
    It would also be nice if there was a way to update the "___ days old" to when the photo was taken, not when the post was created. I created 3 posts today from what happened in the past but the "___ days old" is marked as today.
    Otherwise, it's a great app that we recommend to others and we will continue enjoying it! :) Thank you!

  • ❤️ Honeycomb

    Super cute!! My family loves Honeycomb, I have literally posted every day since my daughter was born. She’s now approaching 9 months. We choose not to share (too many) images on social media of our little girl so this is a great option for us to still be able to share pictures with close friends and family. We originally started with immediate family and as word spread throughout our families, we had family members texting us asking if they could please join Honeycomb. My fur baby also makes his appearances every once and a while. Love this app and so glad I downloaded it when I did.

  • Best app for parents!

    As a new parent, I knew I’d get bombarded with requests from friends and family for photos of our new baby. I love that this app is designed specifically for that and that I don’t have to worry about privacy or data sharing. The app also allows friends and family to save any of the photos that they like - helping eliminate all those requests for me to send them separately. Overall, highly recommend for any parent I also love that the app is developed by women in tech who are constantly updating and making the app the best it can be.
