Super simple, awesome customer support!
I can’t say enough about buying a US product with US support. I love my Switcheon. I can turn my airplane engine heater and cabin heater on or off from my bed instead of heading to the hangar 15 minutes away. If I’ve turned it on overnight and decide cancel the flight the next morning, I just turn it off from home. Or decide I’m going flying later, I turn it on wherever I’m at.

Works great. Simple to use.
I don’t know what else to say. It works. It is easy to use. The annual fee is reasonable. I press a button at home and my engine warmer runs. Better yet I set the timer in the app to run 8 hours before I get to the airport and it is ready to go.
Support is excellent. The plug in mine melted because of a faulty GFI outlet, not their fault. I sent it in for repair expecting to get charged. They sent me a new one at no charge instead. They said they could have fixed the old one but it smelt of smoke and didn’t want me to have to deal with that.

Great hardware, software, and Awesome customer service!
I’ve had the unit for about a year now and it’s been flawless. The app is easy to use, no bugs, no frills. I had a problem with the unit that was my fault. I shipped and got it back within a week, no questions asked!! Love it.

Very simple and easy to use. Works perfectly! I love that I can get my airplane hangar temp as soon as I open the app so I can see if I really need to power in my heater or not. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be a module that automatically turns a channel off if it is not plugged into anything. Sometimes I unplug the airplane heater to go fly, and I have to remember to turn off the power in the app. It would be nice if that turned off automatically when you unplug whatever you are supplying power to. At the end of the flight you may need to plug the cord back in to an aircraft heater for next time, but may not necessarily need it to immediately start preheating the airplane when you plug it in. It can be very helpful if you forget to turn it off in the app.

Excellent product and support!
As a fairly low tech, simple kind of guy this cell phone based system is absolutely perfect. My airplane partner and I use it to turn out our engine preheat set up a couple of hours before arriving at the hangar. It’s wonderful to have the engine warm and ready for flight on a cold morning! The system has always worked flawlessly and the only time I thought there was a problem (turned out to be how I was turning it on), product support was very responsive to my questions and their follow up is impressive!

Great and simple product
Had mine for two years now. Works great. Had a minor software/app problem that was my fault. Emailed customer support at 2pm on Saturday, had a response and the issue fixed by 6pm the same day. Great support and the app is super easy to use.
advertises app features removed?
Used to have functionality that i purchased - turn on /off at preset dates, times, temps etc… but new app update shows only manual function to turn on for various intervals requiring user to choose what appears to be immediate manual operation & no longer set & forget. … who wants to set their alarm for 2am to select 4 hours of preheat for that 6am flight & have aircraft warmed ready to fly??! Yet website product description still shows the functionality it used to have when purchased.
Very very disappointed to have these options apparently removed from purchase product! :(

Sorry it took a while to find this, we don’t often check reviews. The automation features haven’t been removed, we just changed the icon to get to them. Several people complained about the gears being “non-standard”, so we changed it to the more standard I in a circle. Its on the bottom right of your box entry. Tap that and you’ll have all the same automation tools you’re used to. Thanks for being a SwitcheOn customer and sorry for the confusion.

Love this product! Simple and easy to use. Works as advertised and not having to worry about SIM cards, adding phones, or authorizing numbers on a yearly basis is really nice.
I was able to grant access to a partner and both of us can easily use the app. I have the unit in a metal building and have no communication access issues. Really happy with my purchase!

App crashes after 10 seconds on iPhone
Initial set up was fine, but now, being remote, the app crashes at 10 seconds every time.
Fantastic Product and App!
Bought the four channel version to use in my hanger where I don’t have WiFi capability or accessibility. I have my engine preheater hooked up on one channel and a small space heater on another.
The setup was extremely easy, the app is user friendly, and I now can preheat my motor several hours before showing up to the airport.
I installed the unit in a tight spot behind a metal beam and was expecting to have reception issues - I was wrong. Works great. The LCD screen on the front is awesome and tells you the temperature as well as signal strength.
VERY happy with this product and I would highly recommend.
