App works if you update Micro2 firmware!
All of these reviews say the app doesn’t function, which is true out of the box. I purchased a Zeapon Micro2 plus and the app would not recognize it. I followed the instructions that popped up and, after some googling and finding the firmware page (the site is in Chinese) I was able to easily install the new firmware. Once it was updated the app connected very easily and I was able to use some of the basic features immediately.
4 stars because the app is not super user friendly, neither is the firmware upgrade process. But it does work!

Nothings is connecting
I followed the instructions nothing is connecting I even updated the frimware still nothing just a black screen.

Not working
Tried to connect forever but never got connected ever since 😒 slider is useless with out the app
Update is tedious but works.
This is a great slider and nearly silent operation. Upon using it the first few times, no problems. Took it out for a shoot to find there had been an “update” which ended up costing me an hour because I had to troubleshoot their “improvements” and manually update with my computer. Such a pain in the butt. I hope they don’t do that the day I’m working for a paying client!

App Won’t connect. No Android app
App won’t connect and I would really prefer an android app (regular phone is Google Pixel). Slider is great, but the motor is USELESS for time lapse and other things I bought it for without the app. Will be returning the motor and using this manually until this company gets their stuff together.
App doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work. I test it on two different phones (iOS) with the same result. After making an update for motor and upgrading the app I am trying to connect the phone with the device with no luck. Screen with selecting the device is black and app is frozen. Great job zeapon. Currently slider is useless for me since I am using it for timelapses.

App is non-functioning
Downloaded the app from iOS App Store. Using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. App takes forever to get past “connecting” screen, then it says “select a model” but there’s nothing to select, just a black screen and the only thing left to do is force close the app.
Followed the instructions from the update video to upgrade the firmware, still the same issue.

Decent
Decent enough initial release, but doesn’t compare to edelkrone’s app (granted edelkrone gear costs way more). In the future it would be nice to have the ability to apply a curve to the speed so there’s control over how the camera eases into positions. The ability to manually input the number of seconds for a move to be completed rather than a relying on graph with sliders would be great too. In timelapse mode, there is only a shoot move shoot functionality (which is great if you can find the right cable for your camera). But for users who don’t want to rely on Zeapon’s motor to control camera shutter and prefer their own intervalometer, it would be great to allow continuous slow movement over a chosen period of time. Just my initial thoughts after using the app for only a short while. Overall, does what it needs to. Pairing is very easy and everything is intuitive. Just hoping it will continue to improve in the future
