Unusable

First review I think I've ever written on here, but I have had problems after problems with this sensor and program. Seems like it'd be a good program if it worked, but it does not. My phone will connect to the sensor fine, I have the newest software on my phone, I have the latest version of the app, and it still gives me an error message when I try to do a scan. It tells me to email the help desk and when I emailed the help desk I was transferred to different departments three times and then they stopped responding to me. Emailed two other times and they kept transferring me to different departments and then ghosting me.

It works good

It is a very good thing to have helps save you a trip to AutoZone or the mechanic if you need to know why the check engine light is on in your dash. But once you accidentally input the wrong information in the app your stuck with it and there’s no way to correct it, they have no customer service number to reach out for help or anyway to reset the app and start from scratch.

Perfect

I have 3 cars performance I do mechanic maintenance to each and is a vey nice tool to have
Makes an account for each car and separately stores info of each one obd codes problems tire wear recalls ….

Not supported

I have an IPhone XS with the current update15 something. Purchase the blue tooth device to help with diagnostics on my car went out to connect it and got a message saying it is not compatible. What the heck. I hadn’t left the parking lot yet so went straight back in and returned it.

Needs work

I was able to clear codes and see recommended maintenance fine. But, when I go to read any gauges or sensors they cannot connect.

Okay

Pretty easy to setup, but it can’t keep track of my mileage. Every time I open the app, the mileage is hundreds of miles less than actual and I have to update it again. Doesn’t fill me with confidence that it will actually be able to detect a problem if there ever is one.

Bad loops

Good design with bad execution. App continuously loops requiring a scan every time you press anything on the app, couldn’t clear a check engine light. Uninstalled reinstalled no luck.

Great Scanner

I bought a scanner from T-Mobile or at least I thought it was a scanner the only thing I did was show me an error code didn’t explain anything to me the tracks and mileage and gives me Wi-Fi. But the craftsman scanner does a whole lot more plus it will turn off engine lights or any other indicator that you see on your dashboard which is really cool since a lot of dealerships charge money to do that. I recommend this product.

Waste of money - garbage set-up process

If it takes this much to get it set up - it couldn’t be good. The app won’t connect. My iPone says the Bluetooth isn’t supported. I can’t delete a sensor as it suggests. This is a garbage app and garbage device. Nice try though Craftsman. Stick to hand tools. This was a waste!
