  • Frustration !!!

Had original radley watch worked very well but now got the newer radley series 7 problem is when the watch battery goes dead and I charge it back up the time will be wrong . So have to go into the app and reset everything have to re enable all the notifications again as these will be turned off . Don’t understand why it does not retain the settings . Very frustrating . morning, When the battery dies the watch and app will sometimes reset to the factory settings. When the watch is recharged pull down on the home screen of the app this should resync all data.
  • Recent update now watch won’t connect to app!

I’ve had the series 8 watch for 8 months and it’s been really good, easy to set up & use. I updated the app 10th January and now it (app) intermittently connects to the watch, keeps telling me the watch needs charging when it doesn’t and flickers on/off. It won’t stay Bluetooth connected and doesn’t hold the date & time for long before it returns back to Tuesday 10th. I’ve disconnected and connected the watch afresh but this still hasn’t helped. It’s really frustrating as I’ve just had a new knee surgery and want to use the watch for my rehab. 😤 help!

  • Love the series 7 but app doesn’t send notifications or count calories burnt effectively

Love the app for tracking steps however the exercise settings are confusing to use. No option for exercise bike so is not accurate with calories burnt on static equipment - which is the main reason I purchased it. Only measures heart rate every half hour too - so hard to track HR during exercise.

Notifications do not link to phone even though I’ve checked all the settings and tried deleting and re- installing / rebooting phone and watch.

Slightly disappointed but do love the watch so hope they update soon!

  • Not worth installing, nothing seems to work

The app just simply doesn’t work. Any setting you try to change is simply just blank page and the turning it on button doesn’t work. It doesn’t get sleep data from the watch for days, even I reinstalled the app several times. I don’t recommend using the app. With the app not letting change any settings, you can’t enjoy all the features your watch has (no way to analyse your sleep data, get water drinking reminder etc.).

  • Watch is good but could be better

1 battery seems to charge weirdly sometimes it can take barley 10 minutes to charge from 20% to full then discharge to 90% with in seconds of being removed from charger. It also seems to last between 2&7 days from full charge and I don’t understand why?
2 watch face can randomly change without me doing anything.
3 the percentage of battery is not overly clear on any of the watch faces and there is no obvious sign to let your blind or partially sighted customers the battery may be running low because the app doesn’t always give the right battery reading. Vibration may solve this and it would be easy to implement as this is what alarm as that function. I’m writing this from personal experience of being partially sighted.
4 The watch could either vibrate or light up when correctly fully charged. As the the app doesn’t seem to register the right amount of charge as mentioned in an earlier point.
These few changes would make a four star review in a five star one

  • Not enough sport settings

Is it possible for the next update your can add a workout or Gym session in the Sports settings, to record accurate calories burnt. I love my watch but I attend the Gym 4 times a weeks an hour a time and I would love to know the calories I’m burning with my smart watch. I’m honestly thinking if this doesn’t happen I’m going to buy an actual fitbit.

  • Not very adaptable

    Two main issues:
    1. In comparison to Fitbit it records very few steps. Nothing in the house tends to register. This is a wtch issue rather than an app issue.
    2. If you load app to both iPhone & iPad they do not synch. You can only have it active on one or the other & if you switch between the data doesn’t transfer across. Also, if Bluetooth connection is lost eg over night the data doesn’t pass over. As a result you only get half a days data.
Watch is pretty but definitely needs some fine tuning to make it a match for a Fitbit.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Depending on what series Radley Smartwatch you have, will depend if your watch has GPS software or calculates steps via multi axis inertial sensors called accelerometers. These detect wrist movement and the walking motion in order to measure step count. You may download the application on multiple devices however you can only connect to one at a time. Regretfully, as stated data will not transfer and will register on the connected device for that day. We offer different functions to the Fitbit in order to keep costs down for our customers.
  • Very good

I really like the watch and the app is so helpful! It’s really easy to work and there is more than enough different settings. The only complaint is that i want completely sure how to work it at first but i think that was because i lost instructions! I’ve figured it all out now and love the watch!! I also cannot find the advanced setting on the app so if anyone could tell me where to find them that would be great!

  • Unable to change settings

I have a fit bit watch which was going wonky so my husband bought me this Radley watch which is really lovely. The settings were gone through very quickly and I am finding that my steps do not match my fit bit. How can I change the settings to put in the stride detail etc to get the correct steps

    Developer Response

Hi. Thank you for your review. In order to change your stride length, please access your settings on the application, go to my profile. You will then be able to adjust your stride. • Data Records

I love the Radley watch and have found it very useful and accurate with info it provides. However, what is annoying is the step record which shows previous days usage data on days I do not wear the watch. When I switch back on and it syncs, it can show I've done exactly the same amount 2 or 3 days running! Can this be sorted in next upgrade, then it will be 5*.
