Some small improvements and bug fixes

2.1

September 20, 2021

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Brush 2.1 is here and ready for the future, this version is built for watchOS 8 and is exceptionally great on devices with an always-on display. You will notice larger titles to match with the new aesthetics of watchOS 8 and the counter will stay up to date and present you the correct time EVEN when your watch is facing away from you.  There’s also a new option to get a mouthwash timer that looks incredible right after you’ve brushed your teeth. Finally, this version got some performance improvements and little design tweaks. I hope you will enjoy this new version of Brush!

2.0.3

April 6, 2021

Hello! I know it's been a while but this is just a quick update to play the default success sound at the end of a session again. I'm currently also working on a 2.1 release that will introduce an often requested feature that has to do with mouthwash. Hope you'll keep enjoying using Brush!

2.0.2

December 31, 2020

I want to wish you all a happy 2021!  There's a lot of nice updates planned for Brush this year but it starts off with this small one: - Small UI bug fixes - Adding support for French (Merci! Louis Bosc - @BoscLouis)
More

2.0.1

October 28, 2020

Thank you all for using Brush, in this small but exciting update I've added the following things: - Added Chinese translations (Thank you so much for your help Sean Zhang) - Added more complications to support the Apple Watch Series 3 as well, now you can use the small circular and small modular complications (shortcut to app only) - Removed the setting of the completion sound as this introduced more bugs then it helped people.

2.0

September 16, 2020

Brush 2.0 is almost entirely re-written for better performance and to become more future-friendly. The app now entirely runs on SwiftUI and therefore only supports watchOS 7 and up. This is has been a decision made to make future development way faster and UI performance a lot higher. This is new: - New way better performant timer that can run smoothly on the background (even after switching apps) - New complication support: a complication can be added to your watch face, which shows the running timer or a completion mark when completed. - Best streak support: Now you can see your best streak yet in both the History view or in a complication - Pause timer: Double-tap the timer to pause it or resume it. - Improved UI: a lot of the UI is re-written for better performance - Better completion screen: the completion screen is now dismiss-able with just a single tap

  • This is really good! But it would be good if it was also on phone

This is really good first of all and I’m impressed!! My teeth has been white and shiny all this week, but sometimes I wish it was on phone. First, because there might be people out there who want this app but don’t have an Apple Watch or may not be able to afford one. Secondly, some people may lost their Apple Watch or can’t find it so they can’t use the app. Third, my dad has an Apple Watch but I have a phone so I have to use it but, it wouldn’t be a problem if it was on phone. These are my reasons why I want it on phone, I hope you or your team could do that
  • Great!

Great app for reinforcing brushing, but please please add notifications, as well as flossing 🤞🏼 Flossing is the big one most people forget and would be awesome thrown into this app before the mouth wash timer!
  • Not responsive

Not sure why, but the timer does not run continuously, it keeps stopping, unless I keep tapping on the screen. It should not work like that.
UPDATE: Got a message that they are working to fix this issue.

    Developer Response

You're right. It should not work like that! Could you send me details about your device and watchOS version? I'd be happy to investigate!
