Hey Mom, Downloading & playing the games are free. You have a daily limit on each game (we have 38 games right now), but your kids can play as much as they would like on the games. We ask for email to sign you up as a trialist to do two things. 1. Verify you are a parent & have given permission for your kids to play the games. 2. So we ensure we can send you emails with updates about your kids progress in the games (which you can also unsubscribe or deactivate from the parent console) and let you know about ways to engage with your subscription. The $8.99 is a monthly fee & it is written out in a lot of detail before you download & also during onboarding when installing a game for the first time with SKIDOS. In this instance this text appears on the Apple Store: "Welcome to SKIDOS! Let your 2-6-year-olds enjoy our wide range of fun learning games. You can become a member of SKIDOS within this app, on our website or log in to an existing account to get started. SKIDOS memberships are auto-renewable with monthly & annual plans for 6 users. So, 6 kids of different ages can learn & progress at their own pace and learning style. " Further down it states as follows: "Subscription info: - The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, & identify the cost of the renewal - SKIDOS has monthly & annual auto-renewable subscription plans for 6 users - Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period - Subscriptions may be managed by the user & auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase - Cancellation will not go into effect until the end of the billing cycle - Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. " I am sorry if you feel we have misled you, but we are simply following the process that Apple have given us, which is something we would love to work with Apple on improving so that parents & kids do not get a surprise at any point. The exact pricing is also shown under the subscription tabs, but is dependent on location of our app store. We also email to inform you of this on signing up and advise you on how you can cancel your subscription. Regards, The SKIDOS Team

Glad your small ones enjoy the game and remember, we have loads more games for toddlers, just do a quick search for SKIDOS games on the App Store and find others for their age group :) - We would recommend either our title "Animal Games: For Kids", or our "Fun Games for Kids: Preschool" which has similar experience, but more scenes and scenarios to play.
