Release Notes: Latest Updates Sharing Functionality Enhanced Users can now share Posts, Alerts, and Groups with ease. This enhancement is designed to facilitate greater interaction and the dissemination of content across the platform. Simply make use of the share button to broadcast information to a broader audience. Introduction of Comments To foster a more interactive community, we have introduced a comments feature. This allows users to voice their opinions and engage with content in a meaningful way. We encourage respectful and productive discussions on all Posts and Alerts. Streamlined Access to Alerts and Posts Following user feedback, we have merged the previously separate tabs for Alerts and Posts into a singular, more accessible interface. Emergency Alerts are directly available in the 'Now!' tab within the Alerts filter, simplifying how users receive critical information. Follower Visibility and Management The platform now offers a feature to view your list of followers. Additionally, users have the capacity to block followers from their groups, providing more control over privacy and group dynamics. ExPoint Feature for Emphasized Topics Users can highlight and emphasize key topics by adding an exclamation mark (!) in front of a word, creating what is known as an ExPoint. This feature aids in drawing attention to important aspects of content. Username-Based Search Improving the platform's navigation, a new username-based search feature has been implemented. This allows for easier location and interaction with user profiles and their posted content. Improved Feed Logic Significant advancements have been made to the feed logic, focusing on delivering content that is more relevant and engaging to the user's interests. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance user experience. Bug Fixes and General Improvements A number of bugs have been identified and fixed in this latest release. Our latest build, available for download to your device on November 13, 2023, features a newly redesigned feed-centric interface that allows users a better experience on the app to engage and inform with real-time updates on emergencies when they occur – regardless of where they occur.
