The one you want for iOS
It would seem that there is some new amazing advanced calculating technique inside this program only, for all the other iOS Mandelbrot zoomers appear to have a limit beyond which they cannot go. The controls are a bunch of knobs without much in the way of instructions, but with a little practice or careful reading you can get what you want, and the zoomer manages to find the tiniest mini-brots and zooms in on them until they appear.

The clear winner among mandlebrot zoom apps. Sure, it may be tailored to the graphic design/high people market who want to export pretty pictures, but this actually is a genuine deep zoom of the mandlebrot set. Now excuse me while I get high and think about what’s tautologically possible (a major superset of what’s actually possible from our perspective) in our universe while I zoom into the mandlebrot set using this app.

Very good for an ipad (reviewed on 2019 ipad air 3), and trippy
Has a ridiculous amount of customisation options, including colour and shape.
The zoom is VERY smooth and you can just flick your fingers apart and it does autozoom. Takes a sec to un-pixelate, but very quick and gives you percentages for its progress (has a bunch of other readings as well such as scientific notation for zoom level).
EXCELLENT free option and DOESN’T APPEAR TO HAVE A ZOOM LIMIT (but idk)

Mandarin he app drifts after you zoom in with no way to turn the behavior off. I just want to pinch and zoom and study the thing.
Issue
Very good other than the storage gets massive even when I clear memory. It’s taking 7GB of space
ui bugs mar an potentially cool app
on my iphone 6s, the various controls do not line up with their touchpoints, ie to select a tool, you must actually touch about a half cm down and to the right of where it appears on the screen. this makes some of the tools unreachable.

Good ….but …
Great app, but incredibly frustrated trying to render high resolution videos and export them. I should have more than enough space on my tablet but only rendering 5% zoom takes forever, then crashes. In some cases I can get 10% to work at high resolution. Perhaps the app needs more cache to work with? Whatever the case, absolutely frustrated after about 20 different tries. iPad Pro fourth generation.
