  • Nice

    Fun game even funny developer
  • Chess-like Rogue-like

I love the style of this game.

If you are bored with standard and stale chess, this game has something to offer you. It turns chess from the stale and memorized board game to a randomized adventure.

You play against sets of enemy pieces that have attacking moves like regular chess pieces, but they also do so much more. It turns each board into more of a puzzle than a memorized set of moves.

I assume the game is still in it’s beginning stages. I hope that they will continue to improve and expand its features so that this game will become one of the greats that nobody can forget.

Ideas I would like to see in this game are:
    -competition versus friends
    -coop dungeons
-battlefield set-ups (a.k.a. a standard chess set-up but with this game’s unique pieces)

  • Great tactical game

Really fun and challenging. Great replayability.

Only comment is there is no dedicated stats page for all plays and runs only at the end of a successful run like similar roguelike games but minor quibble …
  • G.O.A.T. of strategy games

the way this is no-internet, fun and little to no ads, makes this the greatest game ive played, i love the theme of chess in a turn based strategy.
  • Love it

I’ve been playing this game non stop for days. I was hesitant on the purchase but I took the gamble and it was entirely worth it! I love all the different characters and that you can make it even more challenging with the chain system. I’ve currently beat the game with every character, now I want to clear every chain.

  • Amazing, need more mobile games like this.

I’ve only played the demo and had a blast. I plan on buying the full game (just moved and got a new job, waiting for payday).

I’m personally a sucker for roguelike/roguelite games and for chess. When I found this game combined the two, I HAD to try it out. The tutorial was straightforward (if you actually take the time to read) and the Goblin Caves were challenging, making me actually think. It took me about 1.5 hours to get through the demo (tutorial and Goblin Caves) and was 100% worth my time.

Looking forward to buying the full game and future updates!

  • Amazing game but iPad version needs some work

I have this game on my phone and it works great! It’s so much fun I highly recommend! I bought the full version and everything! I love it! But on iPad it won’t let you click some items. It gets even worse when I use an Apple Pencil like it doesn’t register it until I use my finger then it work for a little bit till it does it again! I’d love if that could get fixed! But great game! Love the concept!

  • Please update

I love this game, it’s a brilliant combination of turn based strategy and rogue-like dungeon crawler (rogue fableIII got me into this genre) with some fun themes. Even the demo is fun on its own. But I wish it would update every now and again (though I understand that developers time is limited). Thanks for the excellent game!

  • Completely rng

Spawn in unable to move because the cards im given aren’t usable in situation. Had like 7 hearts in a row taken because I literally can’t move. Then you spawn in a new room with 1 health and every square is red and very even has the dodge ability while I have no cards to hit them. Many times it’s literally impossible to do anything but sit there and die

  • An excellent old school game

This game is exactly what I want in a module game. Play is novel while building on an internal logic of its own. Art design is clear and clever, like the very best of old school games. This game does an amazing job and understanding it’s own ambitions and meeting them. It doesn’t try to do too much while also being ambition in its complexity. Systems are well balanced and reward thorough understanding of mechanics without being overly complicated. In every regard the design of this game is elegant. Nothing is wasted. It reminds me of a jewelry box, small, beautifully crafted, and purposeful.
