  • Nice and simple. Need more than 3 hrs

I like this app. It’s simple and soothing, however, can you make it so it will last more than 3 hours? Thanks!
  • Minimalistic

I like that it’s simple, yet it’s overly so. You hear the birds, and can close the tent door to make the noises softer. There’s a campfire you can interact with which adds a campfire sound. And if you click on the cloud you can add rain.

The fact that you can interact the app and that it has animations to go along with the sounds is nice. However it needs more sounds and interactions because right now it feels limited.

  • Doesn't Sound Much Like Camping

It works as a simple, thematic noise generator, but doesn't really capture the sounds of camping.

I'd hoped the app would make better use of the conceit that you're listening from inside a tent. But, the sounds are just stock sound effects: a generic rainfall loop instead of the sounds of rain falling against the walls of a tent; the fire's airflow is audibly passing through a vent or a chimney. The fire also sounds oddly compressed.

Nitpicky, I know, but if you've done much camping, these sounds don't sound much like camping at all. At least it looks nice. Though, for such a simple app, it's interface can be frustrating to use. I've never not pulled up the Options when I intended to select ”Close Door.“ If there's a way to choose a time other than fifteen minutes, it's not visually indicated anywhere. And, lack of visual feedback when pausing/resetting the timer means you'll never be certain you've touched the right thing until it resumes counting down.

All in all, this isn't a *bad* app. But, for one with such a narrow scope, you'd think they'd really nail the few features that it has.
