With each update the app becomes more useless
We’ve been using Cree outdoor bulbs for lighting our home for 3-4 years now.
When we first got the app you could control the bulbs individually or place them in a group and control them as a group. The scenes available for the groups have our home a beautiful ambiance and it was easy to use. We could not have been happier about it.
Then came an update. The groups disappeared and you had to program each bulb to it’s own color. You could still program a scene as long as you programmed each parameter of each bulb for that routine. This gets tedious when you have 11 bulbs across the front of you home but, ok, I dealt.
Now another update comes through. The user interface is as far from intuitive as can be. And the bulbs don’t have as much control over color in each scene as previously. I can’t even choose what color the bulb will be when I program automation. Who thought this up?
You guys need to go back to allowing bulbs to be programmed by group at the very least. I can tell you that when these bulbs die I won’t be replacing them with Cree bulbs. I will find another option for lighting my home.
I don’t know who your tech team is but they are adept at making your product more difficult to use with each passing update.

Great! but would like an iPhone widget
I have many smart bulbs in my home and most are Cree since they are usually the best price. Even so, I can connect all my devices from various brands to the Cree app, which is very nice. That way I only need one Alexa skill that connects them automatically to my echos. The Cree app also seems to set devices up more reliably and easily than the other apps I’ve tried, and it communicates with Alexa smoothly and with minimal glitching.
BUT using either the Cree or the Alexa app to control the lights is exceedingly clunky. I would love if Cree developed a widget for the iPhone. As it is, I’m very tempted to try moving everything over to the Treatlife app which has a widget.

Not intuitive. Can’t create groups to manage multiple bulbs at once
The old version of the app let you group bulbs to control them together so you could turn on all outdoor bulbs automatically at dusk and turn off at dawn. The app was updated and after hours of trying this functionality is gone. Used to also be able to create scenes for groups to change color for holidays. If this is possible, the way to do it is not intuitive and we can’t figure out. Videos online do not help. We would not buy these again solely due to the unfriendly app.

Loved it before the update
Before the last update it was easy to create groups and automate them. It was a little buggy but overall not hard to work with and the scenes were pretty and looked great as we have these across the front of our home.
Then came the last update sometime at the end of 2023. Well now there is NO WAY to make a control group whatsoever. What idiot decided that was a good idea?
You can create device automation by each device so to turn them on at sunset and off at sunrise automatically and pick a specific color for each device I have to set 5-7 parameters per device. When you have 11 devices that is 55-77 parameters I have to define just to get my lights automated. It’s clunky and time consuming.
PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE for the love of simplicity please include a way to have a control group that has access to the scenes for the whole group so this app isn’t the most clunky and time consuming to light the exterior of my home!

Terrible app
I am extremely tech savvy so I don’t say lightly that this app has major flaws. Most of them I can overlook since once the gear is set up they don’t matter. But no matter how many times I try and remove and add my new dimmer or delete and add a home I CAN NOT get the app to allow me to use sunrise and sunset for scheduling. It keeps telling me to enter my address which I did. So while I can have the lights turn on and off with the app it is only at the set time and I can’t use sunrise and sunset like the app intends. This isn’t that hard people. You should be embarrassed.

The latest update is horrible
The latest update changed the entire experience for me, for the worst. Every single time I go to use the app, it can no longer find my bulbs. And the interface has changed so that I can barely see the quick controls. The numbers are now light gray on white? And no arrows to adjust the dimmer? Overall, I wouldn’t complain about the interface if it would just work like it used to - but not finding my bulbs every single time now is beyond frustrating. Please roll back this update.

Horrible lag, groups stopped working
These lights and this app used to be great, but starting yesterday, November 23, 2023, it all collapsed into a steaming pile. Maybe their servers are just offline or something, but I don’t need excuses, I need lights that work. The lag in the app has become totally unacceptable, half the time it reports lights as off line when they are on line, and logical groups of devices (such as “living room lights”) seem to have stopped working altogether. At this moment, all I can say is do not buy these lights. I used to really like their app and their lights and have come to depend on them, but at this moment they are completely worthless as smart lights. Save your money.

Newest update made things worse
I already had a couple finicky bulbs that never seemed to like either my WiFi network, or only respond to Bluetooth controls, but since this update it's a 50/50 crapshoot if the bulbs even show up in the app. Most of the time I have to force quit the app NUMEROUS times before they begin responding.
Also, when I decided to delete and re-add the bulbs that were a problem, I found that they have also deleted all the simple icons from the app, so now everything has the bad light bulb picture, instead of the nice line art icons they used to offer. I know they still exist in the app, as the icons are present on the bulbs and groups I didn't re-add, but they're completely inaccessible and missing in the edit menu.
Most companies, when issuing app updates, don't go out of their way to exacerbate the already poor experience. But you've somehow done it.
Please look at feedback, issue more frequent updates, and fix your app so it actually works. This is ridiculously embarrassing on your behalf, and I STRENUOUSLY DISAGREE with this apps current rating.

App is sometimes inconsistent
Cree bulbs have been very reliable for me and seem to be higher quality than most. Unfortunately the app is lacking. It works most of the time but is somewhat unpredictable when used to switch bulbs on and off. I currently have only 3 bulbs configured. When it goes wrong, tapping a bulb to switch it will cause one of the other bulbs to switch or the app presents a configuration screen instead. This happens about 1 in 10 times I use the app so it is not a huge problem but it should not happen at all.

sometimes it works other times it doesn't
I bought my camera a few weeks ago and the truth is I'm not very happy with this .that's why this camera promises a battery life span of three months. Last week I installed it and I already lowered the battery to 80%, that is, in 8 days I spent it. 20% battery when I want to open the app to see the camera it won't open immediately it takes a few minutes and it doesn't record all the movements and I have it at sensitivity level 10 the truth is that this security camera disappointed me
