- When device is paired as Bluetooth key in vehicle using Tesla keycard, commands are sent directly to vehicle, even when not in Bluetooth range. This is highly recommended as commands execute much faster this way. - Owners with leased vehicles who do not have owner permissions and are unable to add Virtual Key using the official Tesla app, can now pair each of their devices as Bluetooth key directly in vehicle, and still access all commands. - Legacy vehicles - Model S and X pre-refresh will no longer require Virtual Key, as that is not supported. - Fart control and share navigation destination controls / intents temporarily removed as they are not yet supported in the Tesla Fleet API. - Updated Dutch localizations - thanks to Paul V! - Added rate limits on token refresh due to change in Tesla token expiration handling. If you experience continuously being logged out on your devices, please know that this is actively being worked on, and is due to Tesla immediately invalidating existing tokens when they are refreshed, which introduces a race between watch and phone - whichever gets to renew token first, will log the other out, until the new token is shared to the other device. Normally this syncs up within seconds. - And rest assured that I am very deep into the development of v.2.0 - it will still be a while, but it is shaping up nicely. Sorry for the drought of new features lately - everything is going into v.2.0 right now.

- Removed support for using the app in China. Unfortunately there are too many restrictions for a single developer outside China, to make it feasible to keep running. Functionality inside China will be re-instated once it is possible to deploy the app without third party infrastructure, relying only on Tesla infrastructure, as in the past. - Added a workaround for misconfigured regions on Tesla-provided authentication tokens. This should fix login-issues in the middle-east region. - And rest assured that I am very deep into the development of v.2.0 - it will still be a while, but it is shaping up nicely. Sorry for the drought of new features lately - everything is going into v.2.0 right now.

- ADVISORY: Tesla is currently (December 2023) rolling out breaking changes to the vehicle API. All vehicles will require this new API, which results in vehicle commands not working using the existing API. You will need to login again and re-authenticate to use this new API. - ADVISORY: Due to technical changes in the new Tesla Fleet API, parts of the logic of this app now HAS to execute on cloud infrastructure, impacting the privacy aspects of this app. Up until now, no data ever left your devices, except to go straight to Tesla - this is no longer the case, due to changes enforced by Tesla, the app is now inherently less privacy secure. By continuing to use this app, you will now have to accept that temporary access permissions will be sent to cloud infrastructure, not controlled by Tesla. No logging, analytics or inspection is performed as part of this, to keep your privacy intact. - ADVISORY: The Tesla Fleet API was not available in China at the time of publication of this build - which means command execution will soon stop working entirely in China. I will have a release as soon as possible, restoring remote command functionality. In the meantime, Bluetooth direct commands will continue to work. - Vehicle image can now be refreshed, by tapping the vehicle image from the vehicle chooser. Due to the Tesla Fleet API not exposing vehicle image data, the vehicle image will be calculated using the old heuristics, and will not always match. In that case, please open a support ticket and I will do my best to update the logic to calculate the proper image. - The Tesla Fleet API is severely rate limited - when this happens, you will see a banner in the app. For now, there is nothing I can do about that unfortunately. Feel free to file feedback with Tesla that you appreciate and find utility in 3rd party software solutions, and ask them to allow higher rate limits. - Auto-refresh is now set to 30 seconds instead of 5 seconds, in order to conserve API requests in the Tesla Fleet API. - And rest assured that I am very deep into the development of v.2.0 - it will still be a while, but it is shaping up nicely. Sorry for the drought of new features lately - everything is going into v.2.0 right now.
