Don’t want to watch an ad every game, if I come off the app my point gets deducted. Fair enough every other game, but every single match is a little ridiculous…..

Doesn’t work well

I like it but doesn’t work nice, I had 1423 points and when i close the app it’s changing to 1390🤬😡. Don’t want to use this app anymore

confirmation

it looks like the android version has a feature the ios doesn't in that they have an option to confirm their moves before playing them. i've made several mistakes now trying to play this game with my boyfriend because of accidentally tapping a square. i would like to see that option for my version as well

Agree with Robby

The app was great until they updated it recently. Like Robby, my score went down considerably after the update and I have to attribute this to the number of bots that I have been playing. I say this, because the moves are very mechanical in timing: Nearly identical timing of every move. For example, I notice the bots making moves within the same 5-10 second time frame(around 20-25 seconds on the 60 second clock.

This varies between bots, but the consistency of the 5-10 second window is something that humans can rarely do on a consistent basis. Hopefully this will be fixed.

A good fix for the programmers to consider.

1. Notify the user they are playing a bot.
2. Offer an option for the user to abandon the game against the bot without losing points prior to the users first move.

Lastly, if users wanted to play a bot, they would play offline. It was a 5-star app prior to the update.

Too Many Bugs

Opposite player can move my pieces, times out before it’s supposed to, every time I close my screen and come back it’s taken points from me for no reason. This latest version upgrade is the worst. Supposed to be standard practice to test version upgrades before go live!

When it works it’s a fun app.

Not bad. Not good either.

After a recent upgrade in which they said improvements were made to make the app more competitive and enforce fair play, it took a turn for the worse. My points went from over 18,000 to 2,500. I used to win most of my games. All of the sudden I’m losing the majority of my games. Now it feels like I’m playing against a bot.
Still hasn’t fixed its misunderstanding of chess rules when it comes to long castling. Your rook CAN pass through an attack!

AD Based!

Doesn’t let you play the full game if you have time set at 60sec. Times out and you automatically win so the AD appears. I chatted with another player online and they confirmed they were experiencing the same thing and they were in another country..

Play across the world!

Currently in Japan and dad is back in Australia. Playing chess with him while sitting in a train in another country is pretty cool. Also chat function built in is nice.
