  • Was great, now buggy.

I saved videos to “favorites”, but when I tap on “favorites”, the app closes.
The app used to be great, but sadly I can’t recommend it, as it’s way too buggy.
    Updates haven’t solved the issues.
If it improves, I’ll update my review.
  • No longer works

Keeps saying something about a Python error
  • Find Something Else

Used trial version and it seemed to work okay, so purchased full version.. fast forward a few months: app constantly crashes, needs to be “refreshed”, videos start over if stopped and come back to finish. Videos in playlist will only play sometimes (otherwise app crashes). Other times will only play if watching from first video in list.
For the last few days, app completely stopped working. App has a “tip jar” - would be happy to tip for something that worked well… not sure why they think customers would want to contribute to something that works less than half the time (I’m not going to tip for developers to keep working on it… app should have been better developed before releasing).
Currently checking out other apps that provide a Picture in Picture function. You should too.

  • Will not work

Worked well for about 4 weeks then stopped. I’ve tried removing and reinstalling and restarting my iPad with no luck. I’ve also made sure YouTube is the latest version. It’s not good paying for the lifetime of an app and it only lasting 4 weeks.
  • 7/23 DOES NOT WORK, PERIOD

Edit: as of 7/23 THIS DOESN'T WORK AT ALL
After my last review, it started working again..at least mostly. Then video by video-they stopped playing in the app AT ALL. I have tried EVERYTHING that USED to work. NOTHING! AND YES, I PAID AND TIPPED because I liked this app so much. NOW? I have 4 completely useless playlists I still haven’t transferred anywhere yet.
    Disappointed and angry.
This has been my favorite, probably most used app for over a year. Yes, there are some videos that don’t work in it-but that’s been ok. The majority of my apps are fine. Tonight, (I haven’t upgraded to iPad 16 yet, just fyi; and yes, I paid); I saved some videos, tutorials for painting. I DID have issues with the app crashing while saving-but they saved in my history. Saved them to my painting playlist & Set up to start painting. As soon as I tap on ANY video, whether in the playlist OR the history, the app crashes. In other words, it’s not working AT ALL! I’m afraid if I delete & reinstall, I’ll lose my playlists I’ve been making for a year. Help!!

  • I like this app!

I use this app every day and I like it!
One day I had a problem: “The operation couldn’t be completed. Pip_it_.DataManagerError error 0”.
I wrote to customer service. They answered really quickly. Sherwin gave me instruction to fix this error. I did it. It was very easy. And now I can enjoy this app again. Thank you!

  • Stopped Working

Not sure if its Youtube or ios but app no longer works
  • Needs updating

    It’s not working
  • Great app for years, not needed by now, 2022.

Seems that YT has finally updated and returned the PiP function to users. Lazy dudes… However, this app has been the go-to for PiP for years and it worked wonders anytime I needed it.

Thank you for developing this feature.
