Amazing app for making quick pdfs

This app has been so helpful for scanning my onboarding documents for new jobs and for making multiple-paged pdfs out of my notes. 10/10. I always recommend this app when friends need to turn photos into pdfs.

Really easy to use

It is exactly what I needed, the app keep scanning page after page without me even push all the time the button!
Very easy and very good

Response from developer

Thank you for this amazing review. I'm very glad that QuickScan is useful for you!

Great app and very useful

It does what it says it does and does it well, my only complaint is that after tipping I still get prompted all the time for tipping again. Iโ€™d prefer to pay for the app and not have the nag screens.

Edit: leaving review as written, but as the developer mentioned there is an option to turn off the nag screen that I missed. Thanks for your response and a great app!

Finally, a GREAT Scan app! โœ…

After using (paid) CamScanner for two years, I kept searching for a free scanner w/ color option. Original hold up was no Dropbox option. App developer, Jonathan, promptly replied that Dropbox add-on was near. And indeed it is here! See ya CamScanner. Great job QuickScan! Highly recommend for everyone. โœ…

Better than most pay apps

This donation-only app is better than most pay apps for mobile scanning on ios, regardless of price. I am genuinely grateful that generous, competent contributors such as the creator of this app exist. I am much happier to pay for apps up front rather than subscribing and will be donating (again).

Beautiful! A job well done

Being a student, you really donโ€™t have too much time for stuff when things get hectic and exams/deadlines are approaching quick. This app has probably given me about 30 extra minutes of studying (just this week) by handling everything in such a clean and simple way. Kudos to you dev, this is what user experience really should be!

Fantastic free and ad-free scanning app!

This is an amazing little app and genuinely free. No required cost and no ads. I will say that actually saving your scan to Files is a little unintuitive, but once you realize you need to tap the share icon to do that itโ€™s fine.

Like probably everyone, I used this a number of times without tipping. But then I thought how useful this app is and how great it is that the author lets us use it free of charge and I sent a tip. Well worth it. Use it free until you also decide itโ€™s a great little app and the author deserves a tip.

Awesome OCR

Discovered this app in your recent Reddit post. Tried it out and it works so well for digitising my paperwork. Really appreciate that it doesnโ€™t spy on me and is very privacy friendly - apparently a bug ask in this day and age. Great work!

Still the best OCR scanner in my opinion

After using the latest version of "Quickscan" I continue to be impressed with the quality of the scanning output and the English OCR.
Regarding English OCR, the app is almost flawless in reading even poor quality photos or PDFs and translating them into readable and searchable PDF text versions. The app also continues to do a non-destructive conversion. That way if a word doesn't correctly translate, it will still appear as the original.
This latest rollout includes the ability to store your scans in the app. That is really helpful sometimes when you need to go back and make a change to a prior scan. You can now do some basic editing within the app, such re-ordering or deleting pages before the conversion.
This update provides a noticeable improvement in the image quality of PDF scan, especially if set to the highest quality scan setting.
Best of all, this app is *free*. I find that unbelievable given the quality. So if you download it and find it as useful as I do, give the developer a tip and we will continue to receive updates to the best OCR scanner on the App Store, IMO.

As good, if not better than Adobe Scan.

Scans very quickly, yet accurately. Adobe Scan had a hard time telling the difference between my paper and white desk, but I had no issues here! The fact that itโ€™s also completely free is amazing as well. Definitely using this for future scanning!
