  • Doesn’t Show Checked Out Items

A lot of the time I check the app to renew something it’s just not there. It’s not in the “Checked Out Titles” area so i’m assuming somethings wrong with the app. The app’s alright except that.

Sorry to hear of your struggles ... please send an email to libraryinfo@ajaxlibrary.ca and address it to Christofer and I'd be more than happy to look into this further.
  • Doesn't work properly at all

Poor UI is one of the issues I can get past, but trying to deal with holds is just the worst. If you select a library at which you want your items to be held, it oftentimes doesn't work and they end up at the main branch. At least 66% of my holds have gone to the wrong place.

Also, once a hold is available for pickup, you can't cancel it - something helpful since I'm tired of having to travel to the wrong and furthest library.

Thank you for your feedback Fa1coneri and I'm sorry your having those troubles. When placing the hold, there is the opportunity to select your branch, and the app should hold that information. Please send an email to libraryinfo@ajaxlibrary.ca and address it to Christofer and I'd be more than happy to talk to you and see if we can improve the user interface with your suggestions. UPDATE: I found the bug in the code that caused issues with the holds and have addressed it in Version 1.7.0. If you'd still like to discuss the UI concerns, please send that email outlined above.
  • Poor functionality

Why are details of holds not available? This feature is offered by the Whitby and Pickering Library apps.

    Developer Response

Sorry for the late reply (I'm still very much learning how this all works). Depending on what kind of hold details you're referring to, they may be included in the newest version of the app (1.5.0). Those would include what queue position you are in. If that's not what you are referring to, please email libraryinfo@ajaxlibrary.ca asking for Christofer and include that information. I'm more than happy to try and put it into the next version if I can.
