The app offers users a unique customizable interface and the ability to live stream from the camera, navigate the entire menu, and offers both portrait and landscape modes with a full-screen option. Note: RED Control App is compatible with V-RAPTOR, V-RAPTOR XL, KOMODO-X, and KOMODO 6K only. Not available for use with DSMC2 or previous generation RED cameras. Lens control requires a compatible electronic lens.

TERRIBLE
This app does not work with a USB C connection to the red Komodo. After paying $700 for the link adapter, this is completely useless without a functioning RED control App. Support takes at least 2 days to reply that is not of any help either.
They should make the iPad app free for compensation

Works alright. Just no good on an iPad. Where’s the iPad version? Get on with RED…zzzzz

Update: the iPad version turned up… $800. Someone seriously need to look into RED’s business ethics here.

Using with Link
Using with the Komodo Link. The latency is there but minimal. Starts pretty much every time. Sometimes I have to pull the usb side and replug in.

One request would be to have the record button when zoomed in. Other than that super happy with this setup. It’s light it’s accurate and it works! Crazy to not need monitors anymore!
