Such an excellent app.

Would be great if the items saved to favourites could be moved around and organised into groups.

Difficulty identifying many stamps

This app had difficulty reading more than half the stamps I have tried. I even tried their photo cropping system and still the same issue. I was getting a bit annoyed and decided to try a couple of easy stamps that I already knew were Greek stamps, but the app could not even identify them. They were clean and clear.

We have a new version! Our recognition algorithm was further improved. Please use our 'Not found?' feature in case the app still didn't manage to process your picture. Please consider updating the rating if things work well for you now :)

Stamp Identifier can’t pick up a stamp in front of it

This app is useless. It can’t even identify a stamp placed flat on a table with a white or black background. It’s not even that hard I can take a picture, crop it, and google search it faster than this app can even attempt to identify it. It’s identification is terrible as well since you’ll have to manually go down the list of irreverent stamps to find one that’s even similar to yours.

Excellent support

The stamp to be identified had a dark postmark obliterating the country name (turned out to be India), so the app didn’t work immediately. However, once I got in touch with the developers they did a manual scan and quickly identified it fo me. Very rapid support and hugely useful!

Useless

Attempted to use the app to identify stamps three times, with good light and a high contrast background. Zero identified. Free, yet not worth the price.

Most stamps are not identified

If I am lucky 1/10 stamps will be identified. When sending emails I am told that I must not be cropping the stamp enough so I have been diligent about it. Still the same success rate.☹️
