Transcribe issue

Worth every penny

As a full time college student this app has revolutionized my ability to get great detailed notes from a long lecture. So simple as well. I just start recording in when my instructor begins teaching and the app transcribes every word perfectly so my notes are written for me instantly as well as much much better to use and understand the wording. Lifesaver app for sure

I can’t play what I recorded.

Very useless. It doesn’t have folders and I couldn’t play back my recording it would not let me

They charge you subscription fee after you cancel it during the trial

First of all, even if you cancel the subscription during the first 3 days, they still do charge you the first month of subscription. I received a notification about them charging my credit card 4 days after I cancelled the subscription, which I had done before the trial period expired. I made 10 recordings with this app, and it transcribed only 4 of them. I did not find a way to make the transcription post-recording to the ones that were missed for some reason. The transcription quality is very poor. it’s better to use the free version, Voice Memo, preinstalled in Apple, and then use any free online transcription service. The app is laggy. You cannot go back to the list of recordings from the current recording unless you close the app and reopen it. If you want to upload the recording to a cloud the app has to convert it, and you have to keep the screen of your iPhone on all the time, which is really unclear, because you do not see anything happening on the screen. if the screen turns off, the conversion is aborted. While you’re doing that, you cannot do anything with the app, you cannot start a new recording. I don’t see any use in this app if we already have the free version of Voice Memo pre-installed

Perfect for quick Recording.

I have tried a few recording apps, but this one is my favorite. It's straightforward to use, and the audio quality is impressive. Perfect for jotting down quick notes or recording lectures.
