this app is literally so cute. I LOVE the notes feature and that even without the pro features, you can use the app to its full extent. the pro features don’t involve important aspects of the app, but are there if you wish to improve your experience. so even without me paying i am 100% happy 😝

ON THAT TOPIC!! i love love love this app but would love love love it even more if:
- there was a little virtual bookshelf where you can colour in the books as you read and add titles to the books.
- there was some more rating thingies - so of course the overall 5 star rating but also ratings for e.g tears, fluff etc

So simple and easy to use, aesthetically pleasing (In my opinion at least) can add an unlimited amount of books (as far as I know, I’m yet to reach a limit) can do simple details like changing the cover and title, can record where you got it from and how much. Sometimes the smallest of details make all the difference. Allows you to time how long and input the amount of pages read, provides percentages as well as pages to help you see progress and see how much left you have to go. Honestly I’ve been looking for this sort of app in a while now and I wasn’t sure about this one but when I tried it, it was perfect! It has literally any book in the world, and you can keep track of how long you’ve been reading for and what page your on. You can keep track of how many books you gave up and how many you’ve read and it’s solider helpful.

I’m really liking the app. I love that you can add notes to the books, like if you have a favorite scene, then you note where it is in the book to return to that scene. You can add tags, some of your own making and you can put them in collections for easily finding a particular trope or type that you may be looking for.
I did find that a couple of book covers were a bit off. Like, it would show part of the back, the spine, and part of the front, but luckily, that could be edited by adding a photo of the front cover. One or two books didn’t have covers at all but again, an easy fix.
I think it would be cute if the books displayed on a shelf, whether looking at the entire list or as a collection, but that’s a very minor aesthetic thing. Overall, I’m quite happy with the app.Show lessButterflySolo

I wanted something to show the books I read throughout the month, this app gives me a book cover on the date, tells me how long I’ve been reading it and allows me to make notes and rate, which is brilliant as with KU , you only get to keep the notes you’ve made if you purchase the book. Also handy is the “ how many times have you read this book, and you can add the different formats you’re reading, ( I lost my reading streak due to reading a hard copy) not found anything I dislike yet 💯Show lessagoodnookloverishardtofind

I am using Bookmory because it’s the only app I’ve found that allows me to track reading the same book in different languages as a separate read. But, a huge drawback is that it doesn’t sync to my computer. I decided to pay the (pretty expensive) annual fee, thinking I don’t typically use Goodreads in my computer all that open, so wouldn’t be a big deal. However, I now get email reminders at least weekly urging me to “restore” my backup so I don’t lose my data. I don’t want to pay $40/ year to be constantly bugged about the possibility of losing my data. It also makes me wonder if maybe our data is at risk. I mean, if the developer can’t figure out how to make the app sync, maybe the are allowing situations that put our data at risk? In any case, I will look around for other options so that I don’t need to renew next year unless they fix this issue before my renew date comes around.Show lessReneerunz

I don’t know how I was able to keep track of the books I read before getting Bookmory. Actually, I do (Instagram), but keeping track of them through social media was never the most ideal. Bookmory is much better — in fact, I am not sure I will be able to live without it.
I really like the fact that the information for some books is filled in automatically and one doesn’t have to spend all this time typing things out themselves. The part of the app where one can see how much they have read in a month is also a great feature.
I will admit that there are some aspects of the app that I don’t know how to use or have not used yet, but overall, I love Bookmory, will continue to use it, and will recommend it as well.Show lessCreamandkiss
