Worked at home but not at indoor hitting facility

I was able to connect to my BLP at home, but I tried for over an hour at the indoor hitting facility with no luck. It would detect the device and say it connected, but it would never continue to the main screen. It would just say disconnected when I tried to continue. I finally gave up. I just used the raw numbers but it would’ve been nice to see ball flight since I was hitting into a net.

Shameful

Shame on Foresight for charging a premium price for their hardware when they have awful software to support it. App continuously fails to connect with my GC3 despite it showing up as an available device.

Secret to My Success Using FSX Pro and GCQuad

After having several issues getting me GCQuad to connect to FSX Pro for iPad, I have found what was wrong and hopefully it helps you as well.

To ensure a stable connection, follow these steps:
1) Keep the FSX Pro app shut down (for now)
2) Turn on GCQuad
3) Via iPad settings > WiFi > Connect to your GCQuad (GCQ#####)
4) Start FSX Pro
5) From FSX Pro, touch launch monitor icon in upper left hand corner
6) Select Devices
7) Select Refresh if your device doesn’t appear
8) Select device - It will take a few moments but then show your app is connected
9) Return to main menu of app by selecting leftward facing arrow (<) in upper right hand corner

You are connected and ready to use your GCQuad with your iPad and see shot tracing and all other metrics without having to lug your laptop.

In my experience, the connection is completely stable.

Rarely works but decent when it does.

The biggest problem with this app is that it rarely connects successfully to my BLP so I’m forced to use other apps like Awesome Golf to get a GUI for the driving range features, even though I pay $500/yr for the darn subscription. It’s pretty ridiculous and doesn’t give me a lot of confidence that the full sim experience will be any better.

When it does work, the app’s fine, albeit clunky and sort of limited in the configurable display options. Could be a lot easier to use.

Needs so much work

Foresight apps all continue to disappoint. Connection issues on start up as well as after start up continue to plague this app. This app was clearly designed for a desktop computer and not an iOS device. It’s about worthless trying to use on an iPhone. Please look close at what your competitors are doing and provide us with a similar experience. I would be happy with just being able to have a simple app that collects all my session data that I can download later. Or better yet create firmware for GC3 or BLP and Quad that will store the session data for later download. Right now the quality and reliability of FS software is almost criminally poor. Get your act together because you have world class hardware with last in class software.

Lastest App won’t launch

The latest version of this app won’t launch at all. It won’t get past the launch screen tried reinstalling the app and restarting my iPhone.

Decent... when it works. Which isn't often.

The interface is usable but I wouldn't consider is a strong point. There's a lot of negative space and small text on menu screens.

Lots of good data when you get into the app and begin familiarizing yourself with it...

My biggest gripe is that its connect rate with the BLP is like 5%. I constantly have to restart the app and run through a cycle of logging in, searching, etc. to get it to connect.

It should not be that difficult and for $500/yr, it should be a breeze to do. As a newer customer, not real happy about it so far.

Won’t connect

Foresight has OK hardware but their software is always a bit behind. I have a newer IPAD Pro and a GC Quad plugged in with usb C and they can’t see each other?

Unusable on iPhone, barely useable on iPad

This app is just a literally shrunk down version of the PC app, with no interface scaling for an iPad, let alone an iPhone with a camera notch and rounded screen corners.

On an iPhone important buttons are impossible to press because they are either cut off by the notch, cut off by the rounded screen corners, or just too small.

On a 10-inch iPad the app is just barely useable but poorly optimized, and it is still hard to press buttons.

There are also regular issues uploading to FSX live.
