My favorite strategy game

This is hands down my favorite of the games you’ve created and out of any strategy games on here. I never get to play games from this era and it’s such an amazing time period. I love how you used actual Native American leaders and how you must have a General leading each new army you create. My only wish is that there were a few more campaigns(which I would happily pay for) like the American Revolution, the War of 1812(this being as far as I’d like to travel this timeline), or another Native American campaign. There’s a few bugs but nothing game breaking. Keep up the good work, I bought all of your games but this one is my go to.

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your review. Actually FIW is my favourite too. Although, I also had some good memories with WIE. Colonies at War is by far the most successful. And so I will be continuing that with CAW into the next game. I wan't to do the Revolution but I am hoping to bring out a new game with that one in it. Thanks again. John

I love this game

This is definitely the best mobile strategy games I have ever played. It is well thought out, with a good UI and graphics, as well as solid game mechanics. The tutorials are great and perfectly explain how the game works, and the different scenarios are immensely entertaining.

Great, simple, yet fun strategy game!

I was always a fan of games like this, and I know the Japanese and the Chinese had similar style games based around The Three Kingdoms period, but I am really glad and excited to play one in the North American colonial settings! My opinion on improvements is that it would be even better if there are more units to spice up the combat complexity. Great work dev!

Hi, thanks for your review. I hope to get back it this game soon too give it a good update. John

Pretty Great

Lots of care has been put into this and it really shows. Historically incredible, and a well designed strategy game. Few bugs, but a couple issues. The tutorial takes a long time to go through, but I find this game to be fantastic!

Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you for being such an active game developer and replying to everyone’s comments and keeping us updated on game progress and all. Rare to see a developer as active and involved as you!

Ads killed it

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your review. I am sorry to hear that it crashes for you. I haven't heard of this issue before. Maybe you lose internet connection or have ad block on. You should check out these possibilities first. It's better to email me with bug problems. You can buy crowns in the start menu and cash them in during the game. The rule cover this. JohnG

Great Military Strategy Game!!!

The French and Indian War is a very interesting time period in American history and gets very little coverage compared The American Revolution and Civil War. It’s nice to finally see a video game dedicated to it, but just as important is that this game is really fun to play. I recommend it to anyone who loves military strategy games. It’s a really well thought out game!

Good game but a problem

Hey I play on I phone 6s and I am having a problem where the bottom layer of the screen is always made up of the stuff that is at the bottom and I can’t make a army I have tried every button. Is it just my phone or is there a problem. Edit: the problem is just that the bottom bar covers most of the options I have figured it out now and I just have to be carful when pressing it but thanks for replying

Hi, Thanks for your review. There shouldn't be a problem playing this game on the iPhone 6. I test it on the iPhone 7 and they are the same. Send me a screen shot if you can to iamwombie@outlook.com. You are not playing the tutorial are you?

My opinions definitely changed

A while ago I wrote a decently bad review of this game, and 1 I’ve learned some things that make it more fun, and 2, my review didn’t give the game and its devs enough credit. Anyways, I want to just say, this. game. is. amazing. The sort of city building, multi managing, and strategy are just mixed together for some amazing gameplay. Another thing is the obscene amount of detail, like when you recruit more soldiers, and your money received per turn goes down due to your soldiers wages that you have to pay, or the AWESOME amount of structures that can be built. All in all, this game is amazing and anyone who gas decent amounts of patience and good strategies, I would definitely recommend this game to you. Sorry for the bad review devs, and I hope to see more games and updates in the future.

Hi Surmshutz, Thanks for your updated review. I am glad you gave the game another chance. I often get bad feedback this way and so I ask people to give this game a good go before reviewing FYI have you had a look at my website there is some good tips and tactics. JohnG

Surprisingly good game

Polished games are nice but good gameplay is far more important. This one’s “got it where it counts, kid,” at least to a good extent.
Fights are just point and click. Tutorials are OK, but it would be nice to have a manual to read instead or in addition.
One suggestion. “Indians” is a generic (and inaccurate) name for all Native Americans; “braves” would be a better term for warriors (or just say “warriors”.)
