  • If you love koala…

If you love koala and you love the ease and fun of the performance fx and you use any other DAWs or apps, this is a no-brainer.

It’s great and all to have individual fx AUv3s for certain things, and sometimes you have to really dig in with parameters, and then sometimes you just need multi-fx quick and easy. That’s what this is for. I put this on my master channel, I put this on individual channels, call this franks red hot because I put that **** on everything. I have other fx and multi-fx apps, but this one is my meat and potatoes.
It’s not only great for doing SP-404/Koala style live fx, it’s also great for sound design. Sometimes I’ll turn hold on and just go wild with with a couple different fx, resampling the result, and then using that as a whole new sound in my project.

    Absolutely worth the money!

  • Unusable in Lumafusion

As a plugin this is unusable in any way within lumafusion which makes me sad.
  • RIP-OFF

It will not open in GarageBand. So they steal your money and give you nothing. Seeking refund.
  • Issue after iOS update

    Hi Marek,

I love what this app does, however since updating to iOS 14.4.1,
Koala FX won’t open in GarageBand!

I’m definitely not blaming the app....I always have regrets anytime I update my OS.
  • i dig it!

    Yah. Nice stuff!
  • Mind readers

Their sampler and this FX plug-in is everything I’ve wanted and didn’t know existed
    Easy workflow
    Distinct sound

The keyboard w ready FX makes this good enough to be a synth plug-in
Bigger keyboard maybe is all I’d ask but I understand that’s not the focus of K FX
  • Au Renoir 404

I have been working for couple of weeks now with this app in the Aum environment with zero glitches , hang ups, crashes or other problems ...and so it definitely has found a regular home in my studio and work flow...it pays its way all for the price a Chicken Foo Yung and a cheap can of larger.

It’s definitely worth reading the manual and viewing the various tutorials , on YTB, to get some mastery of the app...and having done so I will be selling my 404 for the price of a good weekend out ...no more timing errors..no more convoluted multi button presses to achieve a simplicity..

  • Why do you need more basic FX?

Because there are 16 of them, you can put them in any order you want, construct 8 different sets of them and morph between these by dragging the x-y cursor or just get Rozeta LFO to take control of that, spark up (optional) and enjoy, knowing that all this very simple, hugely enjoyable ride cost you was less than the price of a sandwich with a named salad leaf.

  • Yes

After using Koala Sampler for a couple of months , I thought I’d give this a go for use in other production suites & Daws. Fantastic selection to get tracks finished of with such an intuitive method
