Glitchy and no support
Unfortunately I can’t give ut more than 1 star. While the concept is great and the app is easy to navigate I found myself unable to delete my account( I no longer need the app). I constantly receive an error message and no one replied to my emails when reaching out to the team.
Broken notifications and stale user base
I’ve been waiting for someone to capitalize on the growing popularity of climbing to create a niche social network like this, but whoever is behind this app did a poor job. As others have pointed out, getting notified when someone sends you a request to climb - perhaps THE most important functionality - doesn’t work. After a couple weeks I logged on to see if anyone has responded or reached out to find that I got a couple messages a week ago. I responded and never heard back, probably for the same reason.

Great Idea, Bad Execution
I love the idea of being able to find climbing partners easily, but the app has two major flaws: very few users and buggy notification. I can never respond to climbers messages on time because I do not get message notifications. Hopefully the developer puts more effort on marketing and quality assurance.

Great app for finding partners but full of bugs
I love this app because it has helped me find partners for TR! The app UI isn’t that great also the app is full of bugs. Currently, I can’t send any messages to anyone. If they fix these bugs it’d be great and I’d give 5 stars!
Overall Great App!
I love that ice, dry, and mixed was added! Some of the gear selection is a bit irrelevant but interesting nonetheless! As someone who frequently travels between cities and has memberships in multiple areas, I would love to see the ability to add your location to your profile or even be able to change location for planning trips to a specific area. I’d also love to be able to write more in the bio! Sometimes loading partners or messages can be a bit inconsistent but otherwise a fantastic app.

get it whiles it’s hot
With an easy to navigate app, finding partners has never been more simple. Rock base makes accessing partners and their skill levels/stoke a heck of a-lot easier than scouring your local Facebook group. Whether you’re a 13+ climber or looking to get out on some real rock for the first time, rock-base has something for everyone. I recommend this to any Canadian climber looking to find a partner, get out and crush some projs!

Glitchy
When it works it’s great. when it does not I can’t access it for hours despite logging out, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, and resetting my password.
Well made app
Easy to navigate and the information is displayed quite conveniently. A good feature to add would be a display to show if the climber is able to toprope/lead belay

Really well thought out and designed app!! super impressed! One thing that would be great is if the loading times for seeing available partners and saving account details could be improved.
