Good App, needs more effects, tho

Thank you for your review! We would love to get more processing options in a future version of the app. Chorus and compression would be great. Thanks for the input.
Over priced
Don’t waste your time

We spent many months developing this app, testing it with musicians for their input and we're sure we arrived at the best and most reasonably priced app that does what ours does. We gave it the most functionality we could while also always being mindful to keep the interface simple. You've given us the harshest review possible, taking issue with the fact that we didn't provide the app for free. We would be interested in hearing your specific hangups with the app design. If you know of another app that does what Audio Sauce does for anything even close to a one-time charge of $3.99, please let us know.

For context, we're just two people who needed an app to add effects to videos on our phones. There were no apps that did this so we made one. We spent months of hard work on this and spent our own money to bring it to market. Then we charged a token fee for it – most apps with this much functionality use a subscription model or approach the $20 mark. Ours is about four bucks, one time. And yet people still complain. Sigh. Would you mind reviewing the product, not the fact that the developers didn't give it to you for free? Apparently you took 2 stars off because you can't have it for free and can no longer steal its functionality?

Gracias.
Absolutely love it
Decent app, but misleading about purchase.

Hi there. We're not trying to trick anyone. We don't ask you to give us your credit card info and tell you to remember to cancel by a certain date, secretly hoping you'll forget to, the way some companies do. We use none of the manipulative tactics that many companies use to fool you out of a few bucks. Our approach is straightforward, simple and risk-free: try it out. If you like the way it makes your video sound so much that you want to keep the results, then you can buy it for a low, one-time price of about 4 bucks. "In app purchases" is Apple's terminology. We can't control that. What we can control is what is in our app description, which clearly states that saving or sharing a file is unlocked with a one-time purchase. Keep in mind, your assumption that the app should offer free functionality is also something we can't control, as is the expectation that developers should be giving you free tools.
Cracks and pops

We are sorry that you experienced this issue. We believe we have corrected it with our most recent update.
Have to pay to keep

Yes, we charge for our ad-free, high functioning app. About four bucks, one time fee. Is it "trash" to have a product if it's not free? And no, you can't steal the app's functionality by screen recording it. When you published this one-star review did you really mean to spread negativity about a small, two-person company who developed this app with their own imagination and money, and then put it on the market for a very reasonable rate? Did you stop to think that a one-star review hurts our user score? And if you did, did you stop to wonder if we really deserved that simply because we didn't give you something you wanted for free?
