Cuts off often

Whether speaking locally w family or long distance it cuts off. Have to redial-many times.

I can’t live without captions so I must use this product. It adds to my hesitation in calling and using regularly. If I can’t reach someone by text, I use this but wish it was better.

Updates iOS

I’m getting text messages how important it is to update I click that says click here to update connections to software there’s nothing in the settings I get thebenefit ofu updating the app & sales talk. I never updated so which one am iMissing?

The app gets stuck on a loading profile screen

This used to be a great app but now it gets stuck when logging in on Loading profile. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Tried turning off my iPad. Nothing helps

Audio Issues During Calls

I really enjoyed this app until recently, it gave me the ability to see a transcript of the conversations as it is being spoken. I discovered this app a year ago and decided to try it out. I used this app daily and it worked fine and the captions were fairly accurate.

I have two main issues with the app. First off is with the dial pad. Wen I want to enter a number, the keypad is not fully visible with Voiceover (screen reader software). So, have to turn it off in order to make it wirk, which is frustrating and is still happening. Finally, when making and receive call, the audio sounds very choppy and is cutting out no matter if I’m using speakerphone or a headset.

After noticing the issue, I contacted customer service via email to resolve the situation. It has been two weeks now and I have not receibed a response or a resolution to the problem. Therefore, I have to use a different captioning app.

Screwed up big time

I called a congressman. No captions. Then it cut out right when he was speaking he tried to call me. I tried but app is blacked says called ending. I’m not happy. I can’t even call on regular call by disabling this. 20 minutes. Do u think he has all day??

Great Captioning App

I really enjoy this app,,it gives me the ability to see a transcript of the conversations as it is being spoken. I discovered this app a month ago and decided to try it out. Works but…!!

I have two huge main issues. One, if I put it on speaker it keeps switching back to phone and there are times I don’t even know it happens cause there is a pause in the conversation. Two, it does not work with connection to Bluetooth in my car speakers. It will work for maybe 2 mins and then it will just freeze. I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me. So I have to force close it and start over and turn off the Bluetooth.

Hey RickyD23, thanks for posting these concerns. Regarding the audio switching between speaker back to phone - we've had that same experience using the iPhone, itself, not with the app. And it appears others have as well, when searching this issue on the internet. Given this, it seems this happens occasionally and may not be specifically related to the app. Regarding the Bluetooth issue, one of our developers tried to replicate this problem and was unsuccessful in having the same experience you had. A couple things we're thinking…some Bluetooth connections/signals are stronger than others (depending on the age of the technology in the car) and/or it's possible for conflict to arise when another Bluetooth device is in close proximity. And about taking captioned calls in a car…we sure hope you're the passenger when using the app in the car! :)

Amazing

I love this app so much! The captions r 99.9% accurate! There’s one feature that I would like added, if this app can work offline.

Hi! The app will work either on WiFi or a cellular data connection through your wireless carrier.

Long awaited Godsend

I have just downloaded the app and tried it out - it works as well, perhaps better than, my landline captel unit.
I haven’t used it outside the range of my wifi yet, but if the service holds up, it’s a new level of freedom for me. Thank you, good people @ Hamilton.
