A “no brain required” tool
As a longtime (30 yrs) pourover guy that has kept current on forums and YT, I didn’t think I needed an app to tell me the doses and time/volume of pours. BUT, how fun and easy it is! And of your plus don't drain ‘in time’ that is your cue to adjust grind size. I don’t use it everyday, but as a benchmark for new beans, still use it a couple times a month. v2 is a major improvement
I’ve been using the app for year now and was initially confused by the v2 redesign. After figuring out how to enter “pro” mode with the help of the friendly developer/owner of the app (hit the tiny dropdown arrow at the top of the screen), I can say that v2 provides more and better options for controlling my brew and it delights me to use!Show lessconcraten

Hi there. Sounds like you previously had FourSix Pro in v1. In v2, there is a “Guided” mode which is free, and a “Pro” mode that is paid, but if you were previously Pro in v1, it transfers to v2. All the functionality of Pro v1 is included in v2. To access it, you simply need to click the center drop down menu at the top where the little down arrow is. V2 doesn’t have a slider anymore, but you can still set the amount to any amount you want and make quick large adjustments by tapping the “Edit” button to type in any amount you want. It has been a while since I have used this app as I have been doing a Gabi Master A instead of a more traditional dripper. For pour over. But I am in Puebla Mexico, and having some amazing coffee at specialty coffee shops here, and I was showing the app to one of the baristas. And that is how I discovered the subtle changes. But I quickly realize that all I needed to do was to click the PRO option, and all of the details I would need for programming would be there. I learned the app very quickly, and am very pleased with it still and I highly recommend it. It is worth the price. If you are a coffee aficionado like I am.Show lessJay Francis

This is a great app and is truly helpful to get exactly what you’re looking for in that cup of coffee. It takes the guess work and the math out and does the work for you.
