  • App issues

    I’ve had my DRU fire 8 yrs and old app was issue free. This new app won’t even let me in to add my fire. It doesn’t find and connect to fire and tells me no module found. Nothing but problems with the app! Contacted DRU to be told to contact the supplier where fire was purchased. Did this only to be told to contact DRU. Operation manual is of no use as no explanations or help with app. Very disappointing.

  • Gateway Error

    Using the app I am continually met with GATEWAY ERROR. Resolved by resetting hub and fire power but I’m not going to do this every time I want to light the fire. Any resolutions DRU please?

  • Gateway error

    Can’t get the app to control the fire - just comes up with gateway error.

  • Gateway error.

    Controlling our fire the app continually gives a gateway error and takes minutes to reconnect. . Disappointing.
    Any suggestions ?

  • Works now.

    Left a negative review as I had an issue pairing. Got urged to contact customer support & they offered to help.
    I’d since deleted the app & used the old one. However I gave it another go and this time it connected.
    Not sure if the app had been updated but I’m happy.
    All good.
  • A big improvement but……

    A really nice improvement on the previous app, but it needs to include the same functionality as the fires normal remote which e.g includes a timer. Most smart home apps have timers built in now and it’s what this needs to really get it to 5 stars.

    Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We are aware of the timer issue, unfortunately these programs only work for Bluetooth and are therefore not yet! implemented in our module.
  • Doesn’t Work

    Despite finding my Excellence 70 gas fire on the network, the App simply won’t ‘configure’ no matter how many times I turn the fire off and wait 10 secs as instructed. Back to old App that works a bit hit and miss, but I guess that that will stop working in due course with newer IOS versions. Drew: please fix!
