  • App will not connect to new devices like Google Wifi

    Google Wi-Fi supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Since smartphones will usually connect to the 5 GHz band, the “Brilliant” pad app will not allow you to progress in setup because it sees 5 GHz. Talk about self sabotage..
  • HOW ARE THEY STILL SELLING THIS????

    1). So the smart one can’t even connect to WiFi, and if you jump through the hoops to get a new module, reviews below say it disconnects sporadically anyway.

    2). My perfectly pad-trained pups pee and poop all around this, unless I’m there to manually advance the wet or pooped spots.

    3). So, it tried to return their brilliant pad, and check out their answer…. 🤣🤣🤣. This is fraudulent..

  • Disappointed.

    I cannot connect this device with the phone app. Its annoying. I see others are having the same product. It sounds nice & really is an excellent idea but its made in China & its seems like the producers of the product didn’t care to really perfect the quality of the product. (Not to mention it arrived with a green tab broken off of it)

  • App won’t work

    I just got the brilliantpad smart for my pup which I have liked so far but I can’t connect to the brilliantpad on the app. So why did I pay extra money to get the smart version if I’m having to manually advance the pad? Very frustrating..
  • Won’t connect to the app....at all!

    What is the point in having the smart module if it won’t even connect to your phone? I have been troubleshooting this device for about two months with brilliant support trying to help. Finally they just sent me a new module which arrived today, and it still will not connect to the app. I have literally tried to connect the smart module to my phone over 200 times and to my wife’s phone about 100 times. I am so disappointed in this device that I have no other words.

  • Won’t connect to BP hardware

    What’s the pint of having an app that connects sometimes and more often no connection. I just purchased this $250 item and I’m not at all happy with the phone to hardware connection.

  • Great, but...

    I had high hopes for this upgraded BP and it worked great when I first got it a couple of weeks ago. We have two fur babies both under 10 lbs but it amazes me how much liquid these two can hold so I really love that the pad can be changed remotely and there is a log of events. However, since then, it has lost connectivity numerous times requiring a reset by first having to “forget this device” then starting the pairing process all over again. All of our other devices work fine in the same area so I know it’s not a network issue. Also, the images come out completely black if the room isn’t brightly lit. Perhaps I received a defective unit? Will be contacting BP soon.

    The idea behind this product is, well, brilliant. Just wish it were more reliable. Still have high hopes for a better version.

    Thanks for the feedback JTS. Some little pups put out a LOT of liquid, and it amazes us, too! We also learned that some early machines would fall offline and fail to get back online automatically. If that happens a simply unplug and reconnect the power cord to get back online. Then ensure you are using firmware version 1.2.6 or later, which improves connection reliability substantially.     Been using this at for a while now without any major issues. Works really well. Will be even better if system can differentiate pee from poop and advance roll based on that.

  • Awesome app!

    I’ve loved the brilliant pad but the app brings it to the next level! Being able to change the pad from the other room is exactly what I’ve needed for my pug! The fact that you can customize when the pad changes depending on how many times the dog gets on and off - along with the numerous options that come with tracking and logging - makes it an awesome update to the pad!
