Really like this app
Been playing with it, comparing to other Monte Carlo sims. Very nice. Is there an option or possible future field to add “in Todays Dollars”? Would be helpful in estimating Median Balances after inflation.Farmer Dead4528759
Great App!
This is a good Monte Carlo simulator, playing with different income strategies like you have seen before. I’m trying to find documentation on average returns before and after? Also would like to see a selection to view present vs future end value. I appreciate this app and enjoy the scenarios.Stuck on start year 2025

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble selecting the start year. This should be editable in the Profile section of the application. Tapping the date shown for the start year should make it editable (using the standard Swift UI date selector). Email us at support@bonfireplan.com and we can help you with this.First look looks good
Simple interface and rapid response provides results that are in line with another monte carlo retirement simulator that I use. I’m interested in trying the paid version but have a few questions:
1) Does paid version allow for adding in large item spends for specific years after retirement?
2) Can output be printed or viewed on a larger screen
3) Can scaling of graphs be modified?

Thanks for the feedback! You can handle expenses by entering income items with a negative dollar amount. This can be done for a single year or may span multiple years for things such as college expenses. Our roadmap includes providing the ability to export data and graphs, but that feature has not been implemented yet. The graphs scale when the app runs on larger devices. You can zoom in on the graphs using the iOS accessibility zoom feature, but the app doesn't support scaling the graphs on its own. The upgrade makes additional financial strategies available to the planner but doesn't change the basics of how the app works. After entering your information, did you re-run the planner by pressing the 'Update Plans' button on the Home screen?
