  • Needs one more key feature

This is so great, but I still can’t use it with my students because of one key feature that’s missing. Maybe I’m missing it, but I dont see the ability to multi-select several groupings within each column. For example, in column 1, I want all consonants AND blends. Right now, it’s either/or option only. I can’t use the + ‘blank’ option b/c it is limited to only one add’l custom tile. An alternative is to have an option in each column, that includes ALL possibilities, where you can just de-select what the student hasn’t learned yet. If you add either of these options so the decks are a true reflection of paper OG cards, I would use it in professional tutoring. Right now, I would need to build multiple deck variations for one child. Keep up the great work!

  • Great app!

This is a great tool for practicing decoding words. I use it as a warm up in my reading groups. Is there a way to use it in a laptop so I can project it on my whiteboard?
  • No shuffle

There should be an option to randomize the order in which the cards are presented.
  • Great idea, but terrible design

I love the picture on the app when you search for this. It has the clear white cards with yellow for vowels. However, after you download it, the cards look much different and are barely visible. I wish it looked just like the picture on the App Store. This was not clearly thought through when developing this app. It clearly needs an upgrade. So disappointed.

The app should look like the screenshots you see. It could be possible that you have dark mode on and that may make the cards look different than what is shown in the screenshots.
  • Perfect!

This is perfect for any age. I work with middle and high school students and it is so hard to find material that is suitable for them.
This is easy for everyone to use and it is visually very easy on the eye. Excellent job!!!!!!!!
  • Thank you!

This is the answer to my dreams, thank you both so very much for your hard work in making our lives easier. I can not wait to use this with my students. ❤️❤️❤️
  • Love this!

This is such a great app. I share my desktop with my remote students. Have y'all thought about expanded this and making a program for computers?

    Developer Response

    It is available on MacOS!
  • Amazing tool for virtual learning

I love this! It’s exactly what I’ve needed and didn’t know it. I’m enamored by the versatility. My only feedback is to maybe fix the combo of short vowels and the /k/ sound. While playing I was given the combo of cl a c - which should have been clack - I don’t know if “c” can be removed as an ending symbol or if “ck” can be added. Either way, it still gave me the chance to talk about the “ck” rule with my student. I highly recommend this!!

UPDATE: love that the developer sent me a message telling me that I can update decks and disable certain cards! Can’t wait to play around with this this weekend!

Glad you’ve been enjoying it! When you’re making a deck, if you tap the little pencil icon next to the letter set you have the ability to disable certain letters or add your own. Hope that helps!
  • Great app!

Love this app! So much easier than fumbling with cards! I would love it if you could select more than one thing for each column. For example, I want to utilize single consonants and beginning blends in column one.

You can! When you’re creating your deck, tap the pencil on your selected letter set for a column to bring up the set editing screen. You can tap to select/deselect letters, and add your own with the plus, and (I think this is what you are looking for) on the left side you can tap the plus to add another letter set to it and combine them! Then just hit the check mark to confirm your changes.
  • Great app!

I wish this app could be used on my computer during Zoom meetings with a small group of kids.
