Alexa integration tips for lights
This app has a lot of nice functionality but can be very confusing to set up due to the variety of places settings for devices/networks/groups live in the app. I’m going to focus this “review” on Alexa integration tips for lights as this seems to be a common issue and many people complain that it appears to not work at all (but does with the right setup).
First, I’m using this app with an “Aurora” branded light bar, light strip, and bulb. It appears there are many generic brands that are the same and use Tzumi Smarthome.
After adding the devices and linking to Alexa through the Tzumi Smarthome Alexa “Skill”, the light bar and strip are not controllable through Alexa commands without further work. To make these functional, in the Smarthome app you need to add custom scenes for individual lights or light groups. Then you need to set up automation.
From the automation tab, click “add schedule” then “Lauch Tap Tap To Run”. Add task “control single device”. Pick the device or group and action or scene. Now give that scene a name - for example “Nightlight”. This scene will be added to Alexa. Now you can say “Alexa turn on Nightlight”. If you add another scene for “All Off” you would say “Alexa turn on All Off”. So for every command you want to be able to say to Alexa you need to set up an individual “tap to run automation”. Note that these automations can also be added to Siri and as shortcut buttons on your phone.

Scheduling and random turn on
I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong but the in app scheduling for led strips to turn on and off doesn’t save anything or work and the led strip has been randomly turning itself on at midnight, contacted customer service last month and nothing has changed
Decent app
Good app but to many ads
Vacuum is broken
I bought an Ionovac Smart Clean v4 vacuum cleaner, it stopped working after 7 months of use. Despite the fact that I bought insurance for it, no one can help me and fix or replace it (I’ve been waiting for almost 2 months). I tried to call through this application and write, but there is no answer... I only receive automated messages on the topic of describing the problem and that’s all... Once they wrote to me in the mail that it was most likely the battery and I’ve been waiting for almost a month and again there is no answer. It’s a shame...

Works great
Love all the choices of settings!
Happy until the ads appeared...
The app was great until they decided to implement ads that you have to wait 5 seconds to close before you can use the device you've already paid for. This has made sure I will NEVER buy another Tzumi product! It doesn't seem like a big deal at first, but having to wait the 5 seconds after already having to wait for the app to load every single time quickly becomes infuriating when you just want to turn a device off.

Garbage; didn’t even complete set up
The amount of personal info and access to your phone and home wifi that this app asks for is ridiculous. To control lights. The lights are in the garbage and so is the app. You’re gonna have to try harder than that to get my info, Xi Jinping
No default colour for LED Strip
Crazy that you can’t set a default colour for the LED Strip. We use it as a backlight for the TV, every time you turn the tv off the colour reverts back to the default when turned back on which is red. Doesn’t seem like much of a development to add in a “default colour when turned on option.”
Frightening “User Agreement”!!!!!!!
Just read the parts about “The State”, also understood to be “People’s Republic of China “. They basically have the right, by the agreement, to take actions against you for an unlimited number of violations against “The State “. Just read the agreement and think about it.
My company allowed me to select from a number of different gifts. I chose a “FitRx” smart scale. To use all of the features other than just weight, I would have to use the app.
Thanks to the user agreement, I think I will have to replace it or just return it.
WHAT A HASSLE.

Ads ruin everything!
Would’ve given five stars if not for the ads. Super annoying when I’m in a rush to leave for work and I can’t turn off the light because I have to stare at an ad I don’t care about for 5 seconds….. (for context, we don’t have a physical switch).
I do love all the colors and gradients the bulb offers, and I haven’t experienced a lost connection more than once. Highly recommend! I just wish there were no advertisements when it came to opening the app…
