- Multiple review modes (spaced repetition, least-recently reviewed, difficulty). Use tags and filters to customize what you want to review.
- Friendly lesson interface makes it easy to review a little or a lot. Reviews are broken down into bite-sized chunks so you can quickly review a little if you don't have time. If you have a lot of time, keep going. The app makes it easy.
- Hide answers using a simple cloze deletion syntax [like this].
- Cards are scheduled for re-review to optimize your valuable time. An efficient spaced repetition algorithm is used, which you can customize in javascript.
- Extensive stats to keep on you track! Keep track of daily streaks, total time studied, and view a detailed daily heat map.
- Import and export cards and decks easily using multiple file formats, including text and csv. (Anki deck import also supported!) Share cards with friends and classmates.

What's New in Fresh Cards
2.21.0
November 7, 2024
- Audio files now take precedence over autoplaying Text To Speech. If a card has both an audio file and TTS autoplay enabled, the audio file will play, instead of the TTS.
There is no way to change the font size display while editing/organizing, and in order to see any font customizations through markdown or HTML, you have to be actively doing a lesson, which makes this app difficult to use for someone with even mild vision disabilities. I really wanted to like this because I appreciate that the developers charge a one-time cost instead of a subscription model, but I can't really use it, so I regret paying for it. I guess it's fine as long as your eyes are young and perfectly healthy.

Response from developer
Hi, this is great feedback and something that I can definitely fix in future updates. I can empathize as my eyesight is also starting to get worse, so I will definitely improve this. If you have time, I'd appreciate if you could send me an email at support@ussher.ca with more details so that I can make sure to improve the font sizes on all the screens where they're too small.
