Butterfield Card Alert
Every time I open the Butterfield Card Alert App a message pops up to say the app is outdated and to download the new version by going to the App Store. There is no way to download the new version. I have called BNTB three times and as usual I am connected to overseas reps who know nothing about the issue. They all say they’ll call back but haven’t done so. Meanwhile I can’t access my credit card information or the settings which secure my card for fraud.
This issue needs to be solved like yesterday.

Awesome security tool!
No alerts
Everything set up as required in App but no alerts received.
Useless overall
You can’t access all transactions and history , even when they are in the same month. I still have to go in my main account online to do so.
All alerts do not come through to the phone. It’s very dodgy.
Last set of scams that went through on my card went undetected due to lack of alerts .
Very glitchy.
Better to move to CIBC/ First Caribbean right now.

V1.6 Slower and poor connectivity
Keep getting error “server not responding”! Screen refresh is so slow! Why do the upgrades just make the app worse?

Constant error
The app does not work properly. I can access all areas of the app but the ‘card status’ I cannot see how much funds are available etc. I keep getting the error message ‘ Butterfield Card Alerts
The server could not be reached.
Please check your network connection and try again.’ It’s not my internet connection as I can access transactions area and I can access other area of the app. The app is slow and crashes/stall & buttons don’t work at times. The other app worked way better than this. Why create to a new app and make it worst?

Helpful but not 100% accurate
The app is very helpful as it notifies me every time a card is charged. I have it set to notify me on all charges so can’t comment on whether the settings to restrict notifications or usage actually work.
Occasionally, it would fail to notify or notify 2x. Credits to the card do not appear to show in recent transactions. Random Tax charges show up though not actually charged on the monthly billing statement (or on online banking). When in doubt, I check online banking.
I also like that it allows me to add multiple cards for business and personal accounts.

Not working
App won’t open says this version is no longer supported and to download the latest version. But there is no later version available. Have made several call and sent emails but no help.
