Ruined My Camera
Before I downloaded the app my camera was working with the gimbal through the wire, but once I installed the app it stopped working, the connection is still there just the brain got messed up and the gimbal won’t connect back to my camera fore some reason. Do Not Install.GoalieSwagg99
MG 220
I’ve used the 220 model with a Sony A6000 and a Nikon D5300. The app works perfectly with the Sony, even though Nikon is not supported it still controls the D5300 throughout the 3 axes, (pan, tilt and roll).
It can be a little difficult to to get a smooth horizontal pan without affecting the tilt as well, but a bit of practice will allow better control.Show lessThe Alkhemist
Manfrotto MVG220
Just bought the Manfrotto MVG220 gimbal today and really hoped that the App would work - but it doesn’t. Talks to the gimbal but doesn’t recognise the Nikon Z6 camera attached. Indicates that a firmware update is required, but fails to download. All the gimbal can do is tilt; nothing else. I certainly wouldn’t recommend the App, and by association, the gimbal. Manfrotto Remote with 220 Gimbal
It does not currently work. It remains locked and tells you a firmware updae is needed. Unfortunately firmware updates fail. It needs some work to be done as currently it is useless.tyhioph
