A mess. Frequently fails to save the recorded video file. And the remote control function frequently crashes. I’m guessing there is a reason it is cheaper than others.GreatKetch
A bit disappointed…
I purchased Autokue teleprompter app, and expected that my Desview Bluetooth hand controller would work - start/stop the scroll, etc. The controller works for most other teleprompter apps but not Autokue. It appeared that there was a companion iPhone remote controller for Autokue but it always has a red bar at the top saying “Not connected. Searching devices…” forever. I would have rated higher if I could find a functioning remote control, or figure out how to integrate Bluetooth control in Autokue.
Revisit: I have upped my rating to 5 stars. The iPhone remote app eventually connected and it works as advertised.
I would still love to have a Bluetooth means of controlling the app in the Teleprompter because my small handheld Bluetooth controller is simpler to use, and I don’t have to look down at it away from the screen to find out which buttons to press. If there is a way to make the Teleprompter app work with Bluetooth, I’ll give you six stars! Lol.Show lessArtDodger

I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m really cross about this app. Twice I’ve written to request support and both times no response. I took a leap of faith that one of their apps provided me what I needed (Bluetooth remote connectivity) and it didn’t so I decided to buy the monthly version of this to see if it provided what I needed. It doesn’t, despite them claiming it does. I’d recommend going for a free trial of a different app rather than wasting money on this one.Show lessJc112233332211
Simply the best teleprompter app on iOS
I have tried every teleprompter app on iOS and this is by far the best. It allows me to import/create scripts with ease. There is enough granular control over the system recording settings. There is voice-activated scrolling. You easily export/save the videos and even create subtitle files. This app simply has it all and is essential for creating multiple video with ease! No 1: I don’t appreciate having to pay upfront for a fully unlocked version of an app until I can try it out. I took the risk by taking a monthly subscription only to be faced with a clunky, awkward user experience and an app riddled with bugs. I don’t know when developers will learn. there are at least four or five different bugs that I discovered within the first 10 minutes of using the app. In terms of usability, it’s probably a one star. For one, trying to adjust to speed of the text scroll the way it’s designed you cannot actually see the speed while you’re trying to use the slider. The number should be above the slider not below because your finger obscures it when you’re trying to use it. And I could go on. The app indicates “You’re pro” with purchase of full version. Configured to video with green chroma mode, the background still unchanged. Interface confusing. Pro always prompts me to buy other versions for real-time green screen supposed to have in Pro. Kindly explain!ctamc

Hello!! First of all thank you for your message. We replied to your mail a few days ago giving you some indications. Did you have a chance to check it out? The green screen function works with a green or blue surface behind you. Are you using either of these colors? When you activate the mode, you have to select the color you are going to use. Then, if you focus the camera on any surface with the selected color, the image/video will appear on it. Hope this helps you! I’ve tried a number of teleprompter apps that also record video at the same time. Autokue is the best that I’ve found.
The voice-activated scroll speed is effective and works without internet connection. Options to customise the display of the teleprompter script are comprehensive and intuitive. Currently, no support for script folders. Support questions were answered quickly and effectively via What’s App from a link in the app. Recommended.Show lessPeterButton
