  • Total Count of Devices!

This is the first app I have found for HomeKit that shows counts of devices in each room, zone, and a SUMMARY that shows total count of all your devices! I have many more than I had estimated…. I think I am addicted to HomeKit….
  • Can only view not control

A great app to see what HomeKit devices you have and their status. BUT you can’t control them NOR drill into the detail of some devices (e.g What is the specific colour or brightness set of a particular lamp)
  • Actually quite useful!

As an electrician I find both Home+ and Configkuator quite useful and give it 5 stars!

One minor but annoying bug Accessory rename is inconsistent in ‘remembering’ the new name and reverts to ‘Button x’ (x=1,2,3) on 4 button switch like Leviton D2SCS Decira Scene Controller.

This is quite likely a Leviton or Apple bug but I do so hope Matthias can find a work around as he has in so many other ways with HomeKit!

  • 30 seconds I will never get back

It does literally nothing but renaming accessories and as a result it does allow you to “view” them by room or type as it claims. However, it is still pointless and does nothing that you can’t do in the HomeKit app.
  • Simple home editor

A simple home device editor. Doesn’t configure the individual items but allows quick and easy editing of accessories and rooms.
  • Doesn’t do anything useful.

It displays your devices in a different way to the Home app. You cannot control devices. You cannot configure devices.

You cannot reorder anything. If two rooms have the same set of devices they might appear in the same order for each room, but most likely they won’t - e.g. you might get “Bob’s Room: light fan blinds, Jim’s Room: blinds light fan”

It has some weird ideas about what classification things should be - my fans are all “air sensors”, my nightlights are all “sensors”.

Trying to add a room to a zone caused an error dialog to pop up. Repeating the operation caused a different error dialog to pop up.

I could see no way to delete an empty zone.

The author of this app also sells a $15 HomeKit app - based on this app I’m not sure I want to shell out for that app.

  • Not sure what the point of this is

I can't edit the order of any of my devices.

And every device's status is the same colour so you have to really look to see which ones are on and which are off.
