Not worth the price
The new Premium features render the free version effectively useless. Not allowing you to join within the first 10 seconds...not allowing you to attempt to join a previously full raid party that now has an open slot within 10 seconds of your last attempt. The likelihood of joining a level 3+ raid is slim with the new restrictions. You’ll almost never be successful for popular bosses. I’m sure that was by design to force people to go premium, but it totally kills the user experience. Also $15/mo. Is a steep price given the average feature set. $15 total maybe...weak maybe, but there isn’t sufficient value being delivered to warrant the subscription model.Show lesschanelle g.

First started off great, nice FREE app to use and make new Pokémon friends. But gradually the developers have decided that Pokémon go players are full of money. £15 per month for “premium” treatment ? No thanks. I know developers should rightly charge for their app, but £15 per month ? Seriously ?? So that means someone who has the free version is at the bottom of the pile.Show lessBing bong babbalong
Sudden subscription fee to high
With the latest update, a subscription fee was introduced for access premium content. No more ads, push notifications for raids you’re seeking, first 10 seconds exclusivity to make it easier to join sought after raids, see everyone’s level, create private premium raid groups, set minimum requirements to join, and a sparkle next to your name to show off your status.
It all sounds great but asking for $15 a month for this is a steep and hard ask if you ask me. The app is great and the functionality is fantastic, but that $15 is a hard pill to swallow.Show lesstrepvox

This app has been absolutely fantastic up until they added the monthly premium fee. Pretty much renders it useless for those who don’t want to pay. Extremely irritated as I’ve been using the app for months...
....and It’s not like the premium is cheap either .... ☹️Starkers86

This new premium feature literally just killed the app. I may end up uninstalling now.
For anyone reading, you have to wait 10 seconds before being allowed to join a raid party now...so basically 5 premium users can join before you. I can’t get in to any parties anymore.Thisisthesupertyonceagain

I liked the app before the update. The feature where only premium members can join in the first 10 seconds makes it impossible to get into any of the good raids since they will fill up so quickly. I don’t mind the other premium feature not being available but this one is very annoying. I hope they improve this mechanism and make it better. I can’t afford premium so this is frankly unfair.Show lesscausinclaw

I absolutely loved this app. It was a great way to be able to do international raids and was always accurate. I never once lost a remote raid pass with this app.
This new update is HORRIBLE!!!
They now make it where you can not join the first 10 seconds of a newly posted raid unless you’re a “premium member”. Well, as many of you are aware if you raid a lot (especially with new or high value bosses), most rooms are filled up within 10 seconds. Even when I find a raid that’s been open for longer than 10 seconds, I get a notification saying I tried to join the party too quickly and I need to wait before trying to join again. Im sorry, what??? After an HOUR of trying to get into any raid party (I even tried a few 1 star raids), I got infuriated and went to go purchase premium figuring it’d be like $5 a month or something. Nope. $15 a MONTH!!!!! Are you kidding me? You guys had a great platform and now you’re just trying to money gouge.Show lessEbtoere7/84

Premium definitely ruins the whole app, you won’t be able to join a lobby now because you have to wait 10 seconds for premium members to join first and by then it is full. On top of that who wants to pay 15$ a month for barely anything when we already have to pay for raid passes. Was perfectly fine beforehand. Not only does premium make it difficult to get into any raids; if you try to join one, it’ll prompt you with a message saying “only premium members are allowed to join in the first 10 seconds” and when you go to join after 10 seconds, the party will either be full or it’ll prompt you with a different message saying “wait a few more seconds before rejoining this room” when I wasn’t even in the room in the first place! People who use the app for free will have a terrible experience and will be forced to pay 15$ a month for a good experience. My best advice is to use facebook groups or a different app for joining raid parties.Show lessMike1836472918374

This was a great app to host and join raids and I used it a lot for legendary and mega raids.
But one small issue with the app was the small amount of players using it. Meaning there would be maybe up to 3 legendary raids at once but almost immediately filled up. So it was almost impossible to join a raid especially when these legendaries first come and are limited.
But now with this premium member thing they added players can pay $20 monthly to be first to actually enter a raid. Meaning those who can’t afford to spend that now have no chance of using this service.
Really sad way to try and earn money when the ad removal is over $8 already. The premium service would Make more in the future when the quantity of users is 10x the amount and you have a lot of options of raids to choose from. But here where there’s only 3 raids and you can barely get in cause they fill up quick, no chance of being added.
I would suggest people to find a new app or discord group because you won’t be able to get in otherwise. If you spend the $20 your just competing how we all did before this addition. You’re just $20 poorer.Show lessdark 127
