  • Love everything

I caught my first darkrai and mega evolved my gengar, I love this app more than anything. #1, these people are super nice, #2 they’re also really helpful and #3 I can do raids while in my comfy bed.
  • Great App

Loved using this app and was more than happy to pay for the premium service. Easy to use and great for hunting those shiny legendaries. However since the change to remote passes in game it’s hard to get people to join you. I cancelled the premium service as it no longer seemed worth the £14. However if that’s reduced or the game reverts its decision on remote raids I won’t hesitate in getting again.

  • Very unforgiving, no redemption.

At first this app was an awesome and great experience. However as I grew more and more on Pokemon Go, I decided that rather than only joining raids I would host them. But on one fateful day when I pulled out Pokemon Go. I saw that there were raids near me and like many people do I went to them. I found myself without anyone to do it with so I hosted on this app. Unfortunately because of the short period that I was able to go and play, I had to leave. Thus meaning I had to cancel the raid. A good while after that I found myself hosting another raid for nobody to join after 10 minutes had passed. I thought to myself that perhaps I was shadow-banned so I took it up to support. Just to be shot down by them because ‘That is a violation of our terms of service.’

  • Great when it works

App was great when it was still working for me. After a few week no one was joining my hosted raids. I thought it was just a slow day so I waited patiently until all the time ran out. This is what happens every time I tried to host. So I asks a friend that also had the app to see if they could join my raid. They could never find me. I tried to host smaller less popular ones so it would be easier to find. They could never find me and no one still ever joined my raids. I didn’t mind so much because I was still able to join raids. After a few weeks I finally emailed for help because I wanted to host and was still having the problem. I got an email back from Jason telling me

“There are a million people trying to host Primal raids so it's perfectly normal to have no one joined your raids. “

I responded with more information because it didn’t just seem like no one was willing to join my raids and was sent a second email

“ We don’t show every raid when there are too many hosts. It’s normal to have your raid not showing up when there are already plenty of hosts. “

It would have been nice to get help instead of being brushed off so fast. Glad I didn’t spend the money to become a premium member if that’s how they treat users.

  • Good overall, but premium is not worth it.

I have had an overall good experience with this app, if you’re looking to get region specific Pokémon 10/10. If you’re looking to get into average to mid raids without having to get off your couch 10/10. But recently I purchased premium in an attempt to catch Kyogre, Groudon, or Rayquaza. I spent $15 and sat with the app open for an entire 8 hours constantly refreshing every 10 seconds to enter a raid and wasn’t allowed in once. I understand that these were very sought after pokemon, but if I can’t even access them when basically dedicating a whole day of my life to the chance then what’s the point in having premium, lol. Good app though, worth the download.

  • Too many bots/fake raid hosts

Too many bots host raids and then leave, meaning that you are left with 4-5 trainers in a 5 star raid. And since many of these trainers are lower level trainers, you won’t win and you just lost your remote raid pass. So be warned as you have a higher risk of loosing money with this app if you paid for those remote raid passes!

Note - look at the trainer profile when they accept your friend request. If it shows no battles won and 1 pokemon caught, it is bot and DONT join the raid. If you do, understand the bot is not a player and won’t be in the arena and won’t give you the additional friendship XP.

I have had more success with poke genie. You have to wait in line for more popular raids but I haven’t met a bot yet and I have a higher catch rate.

  • Amazing way to get Pokémon

Whenever I try and get a Pokémon, nobody else ever wants to do it with me, but I got this app today and have received a yveltal and a mega lopunny in less than 20 minutes.
  • Only Way to Remote Raid

When Celesteela came out and was region-locked I was afraid I’d never get one for the dex entry. All the queues everywhere else were jam-packed to the brim and impossible to get into. I didn’t even have to pay for the premium to get into one eventually (with a little patience and luck I got into two within 15 minutes). The first one fled, but the second one was my first raid hundo! I only wanted a dex entry! I’m very thankful to this app for allowing me to get into a high-demand low-supply raid after Niantic made the questionable decision to split the Kartana/Celesteela debut by Northern and Southern Hemisphere. Thank you! Poke Genie and Discord groups can’t compare.

  • Actually Perfect.

The game is amazing, hosting and joining is super easy. There is no annoying prices where you have to pay for it. (Exept premium which is playable without it) You can make friends with others and get legendaries easily because of all the good players who host. Shinies are quite easy too. (I got a shiny Diagla). The only requirement is a remote raid pass or 100 coins. Its perfect for at home, in a location which is sparce of gyms/raids, good with friends and randoms. 10/10 compared to other apps like this where paying is the only option.

  • No communication. Bad treatment of raid hosters.

Tried to host three raids the other day, wouldn't let anyone join, even when my bf specifically looked for my lobby. Turns out I had a "too low score" to continue to host raids even though every single raid I posted was legit and only one we actually lost. Was considering buying premium because the app was helpful, but turns out they ban people with no communication and no indications of that. Still happy to steal your money though. Moved me and my 23 friends who I referred to this app over to the MUCH better competition. Also posted this to social media with thousands already in shock. Disgusting behaviour.
