  • Can’t connect to 7.8 AT-04

New Horizon Fitness treadmill, doesn’t connect with the app. Called support, who could also not get it to connect. Waiting for them to call back.
  • Misleading integration with Horizon

Horizon's documentation says this app integrates with speed, incline, heart rate and more with their Bluetooth treadmills. All this app does is display the values that are on the treadmill.

Unlike Horizons AFG app, this one does not o regrade heart rate. Sure, you can connect a HRM to it and see it on the screen. But the app does not send that BACK to the treadmill for display on the console. AFG does this without even having to select the HRM, it just detects it automatically, so it's certainly possible and given the app is made by the same parent company's it's silly it can't even integrate their own hardware in a seamless way.

The virtual currency model is also not for me.

I wanted to test the functionality of the app and so I selected any run. It charged me coins or whatever they call it. I immediately closed the ride after 10 seconds and of course they kept the coins and if I wanted to test it again I'd have to pay again.

There should be an obvious and free free run mode that's front and center. I eventually found one but it's buried on menus.

  • Not there yet

Works well for heart rate zone based training. Constantly crashes on Sprint 8 workouts to the point where it is currently unusable. The Apple Watch app and iPhone app log double workouts. A shame because using the HR zone based training works so well and is a game changer.
  • Selecting height options is incorrect.

I guess this app was built for sky scrapers that like to workout.
When I select my height the shortest option I have is 170 feet and the tallest is 220 feet.
Sadly I’m no where near any of those numbers.

I was hoping for a number somewhere around 5 foot 10.
If that could be added that would be great.

  • Terrible

I loved the app until I ran out of “z points”. I did not see where or how to buy more points. It seems that the app gives you a balance of points that get used up as you exercise. So frustrating. Why not earn points by exercising? No, that would make too much sense.
  • Sending double workouts

I like how the app connects to my Horizon 7.8 treadmill to keep track of workouts. Unfortunately, the app is sending double workout data from my iPhone and Apple Watch. The app has the accurate distance but is labeled as an outdoor run. The Apple Watch data doesn’t include distance, but does record it as an indoor run. It would be nice to have a fix for this redundancy because I do like the app.

  • Workout Type

Need a way to change workout type from run to walk.
  • Won’t connect to Horizon Fitness 7.0 AT Treadmill

This won’t connect using an iPhone 8 with iOS 17.1.2 or an iPad Pro using 16.2. Useless for me. Keep in mind if you are considering buying equipment from Horizon Fitness.
  • Can’t connect

I’ve been trying to add equipment for DAYS!
  • Strava Sync

Not a huge fan of this app.

This app would be better if:
    - the pace would sync to Strava too, rather than just the total time & distance. I.e so I can see my splits for each KM
    - you could sync with TrainingPeaks, in particular being able to downloads sessions from TrainingPeaks to then complete on the treadmill
