Does it even work?
This app was great during the pandemic, now into the 2021 school year it doesn’t work at all. All it does is say it’s “loading” - Very disappointing for something that was paid for.
Just ok
I bought this app several years ago and although it is more picky (requires better precision) and not as easy to use for the students, it was still was a nice option for letter and number tracing. I like that it uses the correct verbal cues for formation. However, now I need to re-purchase the app because they changed the platform. It is the exact same app with no new items or improvements. At least if they want you to re-purchase something, it should offer something more. I do not plan on buying it again, because there is nothing new and there are a lot of other apps that work well if not better. I’m a big hand writing without tears supporter, I will just use their workbooks and manipulatives like the slate board.
Now a year later... I bought the app again and I couldn’t even use it really. I am a busy OT and basically like to pick and choose the magic c and diver down letters, or any letters students are having trouble with. They are all locked and need to be unlocked and go in order. Now I am not going to re-purchase until they fix all their issues.

Not a one time purchase. breaks at 12 mo.
This app no longer works after 12 months from date of purchase. This is not in the description. There is no way to renew through the app and when I called, they recommended I purchase through the website. If I do this, my child loses all progress. Bummer this was not thought through when advertised to individuals. False advertising. Fix for a way to be renewed and add that verbiage in the description. NOT USABLE AFTER 12 MONTHS, WITH NO WAY TO RENEW.

I love the idea but it freeze a lot and my child get frustrated
Good idea but doesn’t work well
I like handwriting without tears but this app needs improvement. The idea is fine but even with the sensitivity level set on the easiest, sometimes even I can’t get the app to approve my letters after multiple tries. It’s way too frustrating for my child when he’s doing a good job but the app keeps telling him he’s going off the board or whatever.
I thought it would be a good alternative to a real wet dry try board but I will go with an actual slate unless the app is updated and improved more.

Purchased app not working
I love this app for my children, but the original app I purchased freezes after every letter. I can’t update it because it turned into a subscription model.
Not good
This used to my best app but my baby brother can’t write anymore and it keeps loading adds and it’s just very hard to do because we just don’t like it.
Way too sensitive
I’d really like a refund on this because it’s completely unusable. My 4 year old is so frustrated trying to write letters because she’s always told she’s wrong even though she’s staying on the line. The app is way to sensitive and needs to be fixed immediately. No, I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback, and sorry your child had so much trouble with it. I wanted to let you know that we just released a new update that has 3-levels of sensitivity that you can adjust. The student will default to the most relaxed setting, which is more tolerant than the one your student was using before. There are 2 further settings that are less tolerant than the one before, but you may choose which one is most appropriate for your student. Also, included in this release, is the ability for the student to continue practicing past the 3rd star level. Once they complete all 3 stars on any letter or number, they can go back and practice again and again at the 3rd star level. Doesn’t work
Can’t get the app to work. I’ve contacted support. They say the app requires iOS 11 or 12. Since I’m running iOS 14 I guess I’m out of luck. I’ve tried contacting support further to clarify this, but after a couple weeks they have not responded. I’ve requested a refund for the annual subscription I bought, but to no avail.
