My Apple Watch cost about the same as the kit that uses this app. The watch can play music, set and and sound alarms and timers, call my wife, give health warnings based on pretty accurate biometrics, display photos of loved ones (or mortal enemies if I need motivation), open and close my garage door, act as a calculator, and the list goes on. This app controls water temperature, can test for salt, but not any of the water chemistry that the IQ system monitors on its on board display. It can turn on the lights but can’t control the colors. Other limitations are listed in other reviews. I think my point is made. This app only gives its companion unit a value in the neighborhood of $100-$150. Because it is in the category of “Hot Tub” they sell the unit at an 8x mark up. Shameful.
