Parent card information

I don’t like this app because I have to enter card information what If I’m not comfortable with that or it might scam me I do not approve of this app and I hope it gets taken off the App Store this app is not very great and I’m leaving a 1 star review because my kids hate this app -anonymous

The BAND app and the BAND for Kids app are free of charge and does not require a subscription fee. However, because of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule we are required to collect 50 cents on the parent's credit card as proof of parental consent on the BAND for Kids app. Please note that this is only applied to new accounts for users under the age of 13

This is why they have a 2.1 rating

You have to put in a credit card number just to give them access to your credit card info would not recommend for your child DO NOT DOWNLOAD 0/10

The BAND app and the BAND for Kids app are free of charge and does not require a subscription fee. However, on the BAND for Kids app, the 50 cents was charged as COPPA requires us to receive parental consent when creating accounts for users under the age of 13 and it states that parental consent for the collection of children's personal information is only considered valid if the parent completes a transaction using a credit or debit card.

Horrible

You have to put in ur parents email and then they have to put in their credit card number. And they charge 50 cents!!!

I does not work you have to Put in your parents email and it does not work so please help me out

Really safe and secure for kids

There are limited features on the kids version so I don’t have to worry about my child clicking ads or starting random chat conversations. You also have to be invited to a private Band to join which is nice, so there’s very little room for me to feel like I don’t know what my child is capable of doing on the app or their public visibility outside of communicating with her friends and teammates.
