Leave a Review The Ride
Instructors are Great! Would like a few improvements.
I very much enjoy all the instructors. I’m 64 and only do the Rhythm classes. I use The Ride and MSeries Apps together on my iPad. I have an M3i bike and use a Polar Verity Sense heart rate arm band. I would like to see some improvements;
1) Search add the ability to include “Favorites” or “/Favorites” in the search, Favorites or Custom Playlist. There aren’t new Rhythm rides each time I ride (3 times a week) so I step through the existing rides. As I ride a class I save as Favorite. Once I have saved all as Favorites, I ride and unmarked as favorite. My search is “Rhythm ENG 45” I would like to add “Favorites” or “/Favorites” the “/“ meaning not. You added playlist. It would be good if the search would allow the use of custom play list names i.e. “Ridden”or “/Ridden”.
2) Please add MSeries to The Ride App. Or make MSeries so it doesn’t cover the color bar at the bottom. I have to start my ride with Split View and in this mode I can’t see the RPM without my glasses. 1/3 the way though the ride I switch to slide view because it covers the color bar at the bottom. After 1/3 of the class that part of the color bar has passed.
Thank you! I really enjoy these apps and plan on using them for years to come.

Years later and I’m still loving this app. Good price with free minh available to new users - give it a go! you’re supposed to use the ‘keiser m series’ app with this ‘the ride’ application. Although The ride’ cycling app doesn’t connect to the bike, this other one mentioned above does (m series). No where in ‘the ride’ do they mention this!! Add in or do an FTP test elsewhere or in the m series app (or you may know it already- so add in profile section) and it then will give you the coloured zones needed during a ‘free ride’ in the M series app on one of the screens - these coloured zones are meant to be used/indicate you’re in The correct zone for ‘the ride’.Show lessNot for pincesses
This is a basic, no frills cycling class. There isn’t any fluff. If you’re looking for cheap frills and want to pay more $$ for pretty the same experience, in home cycling, get another app. My only complaint, the phone needs to be in “airplane mode” in order to play videos that you have downloaded (at least that how it is for my phone.)Show less
